"You are very good at drinking coffee and doing nothing honey... I love you. But I went after the Frinn demon alone because I was here setting up lessons and it just showed up - you are the hardest person to find sometimes so I went alone. And took the car..."

Aden pulled his mask off too and grabbed the last of the rages, putting them carefully in the bag and then zipping it up and lifting it up onto his shoulder. "Sorted. I'll go put these back where they came from... You should probably go find Laurie, I think Trinity's winding the poor girl up again."

Athos rolled his eyes, "yeah, I can't see you... It's a temporary blindness caused by both light and stress.." he said, that was something very funny actually since his powers had all to do with light and all that. He listened to them and chuckled at Jacob's words and shook his head, "nah... I don't think she wants to be known" he smirked and 'looked' at Jacob, "I'm the teachers assistant" he said.

Mistelteinn grinned, she liked Jacob's sense of humor actually and then stared at Athos, -you? Teaching assistant?- she giggled, -ha .... This is unbelievable-

Skylar smiled faintly, putting his arms around her. He kissed the top of her head before resting his head gently on hers, closing his eyes with a soft chuckle. "Not denying that, I am defiantly very good at that... probably one of the things I'm best at actually." He grinned, "aaaand made its dream come true and turned it into a flying car. Then turned it into a mush of metal. Nice job destroying its dream, love."

Kage smiled faintly, "weren't there balloons involved in this? I'm pretty sure you mentioned balloons..." She gave a soft chuckle, giving a small nod, "Alright, and if I find out something happened to them and its your fault, I'm going to cry and hit you on the head." She gave a slight, playful grin as she stood on her tiptoes to kiss him on the cheek before she started down the corridor, slipping her hands into the pockets of her jacket. "Laurie... Laurie... where art thou?"

"That's funny..." He blinked, "wait, teacher assistant for who?" He stepped back, slipping his hands into the pockets of the jeans he wore, and with a small grin purposefully sidestepped so it looked like Athos was staring at the ground. He usually wouldn't do those things, but it was awfully amusing to see, especially since the Amaranth was his family's angel.

Angela closed her eyes tiredly and then frowned and lightly punched Skylar's arm. "If I buy you a new car will you stop guilt tripping about the old car?" Angela grumbled a little and then cuddled back up next to him. "You can pick the car, just make sure it's a cool color. Like red. Or blue..."

- - - { Councilor Aiden Thorn

"Ah you are acting like I'm going to kill them." Aiden returned the kiss, gently kissing Kage's forehead. "Yeah... I think Trinity is expecting Laurie to do a whole multitude of things, I'm sure that if you listen for the sound of sobbing and screaming toddlers, you'll find Laurie." Aiden waved goodbye and made his way down the corridor in the opposite direction.

Laurie was surrounded by screaming and sobbing toddlers as Aiden had suspected, "Shushhhh..." Laurie grumbled, rocking the three and a half year old on her hip as he started sobbing again. As the three year old started to quieten, the five year old started yelling and pouring juice onto the computer keyboard. "Micheal! Don't do that!" Laurie exclaimed, "I'll tell your father unless you stop it." She took the juice from him and set it on the sideboard. She carefully set Charlie the sobbing three year old on one of the computer chairs and bribed him with biscuits to make him shut up.

Skylar pulled a sad face as she punched him lightly in the arm, and made a whining sound. He then rumbled with a laugh and put his arms back around her. "The car really doesn't bother me, it just amuses me with the way you react." He smiled faintly, "plus, I technically don't need a car. I can poof to where I want, it just takes a ton of energy depending on the distance."

Kage gave a soft laugh as she continued down the corridor. "Listen for the lovely sound of toddlers... shouldn't be too hard..." She was right to. She had simply gone down another corridor before she could hear them. She smiled faintly to herself as she continued down the hallway until she came to the door to the councilor's personal chamber. She knocked on the door, waited a couple moments before she opened it and poked her head in, still smiling faintly, "it sounds as if you have your hands full, Laurie." She gave a soft chuckle, "would you like help?"

Angela shrugged a little, "Okay, now we have decided that we have no use for a car, give me a hug because I'm tired and I love you." She looked up at him with a pouting face and reached up to run her fingers through Skylar's hair, spiking it up to wind him up a little bit.

- - - { Councilor Laurie Cross

"Yes!" Laurie exclaimed, "I blame their father for being a Wings member, they keep pretending to be the weeping angels off Doctor Who, and according to Nick-" Her husband, "-I'm not allowed to hypnotize the kids into being good any more so I can have a break. Apparently it's a bad habit to get into." She passed Charlie to Kage and picked up Micheal, bouncing him on her hip gently to stop his sobbing.

Skylar frowned, looking cross-eyed up at his hair that fell into his eyes. "N'aww Angela... I have enough problems with keeping my hair from spiking up everywhere..." He shook his head, moving hair from his eyes and stopped trying to put the spikes down and just gave a quiet sigh. He put his arms back around Angela, pulling her into a hug and gave her a small kiss, smiling faintly, "Love you too, dear."

Kage laughed, stepping into the room and closing the door behind her. "I don't watch Doctor Who, but that sounds amusing." She took Charlie resting him on one of her hips while the other was held up and a small shadow bunny formed to sit on her palm, its nose quivering as it looked at Charlie. With practice of her shadows, she'd mastered making things look realistic and not black forms of animals by thinning shadows in areas to define things, like making the rabbit appear a grey color instead of black. She had no idea if it would distract Charlie enough to calm him down, but there wasn't harm in trying, only if it made things worse."At least they aren't twins trying to taking each others heads off one moment then teaming up and doing the same to their parents, only with cookies." A pause, "what does Charlie like?"

Athos blinked and rolled his eyes, "I'm assisting everything until I choose the course I wish to lecture..." he said and 'looked' over to where Jacob was, "I can hear your voice frequency change, I know exactly where you are..."

-Oh my, he is like a bat...- Mistelteinn said then, -you might have a nice hearing...- she said amused. "Not a nice hearing, I just learned to find my way..." he took a step back, "so are we going to have things going?" he asked, "I need to get away from the sun to see again..."

Angela grinned a little at the spiky hair and snuggled close to Skylar, closing her eyes as she cuddled against him. "Yay the start of a new school year, how many kids are you betting I injure in my first class?" Angela grinned a little bit at the joke, she'd injured a kid five minutes into her first ever class and now they took bets on it for fun.

Laurie sighed in relief when Charlie started giggling and trying to grab the bunny with his chubby fingers. "No the whole point of them pretending to be weeping angels is they run around the place, freezing into stone whenever I look at them and trying to kill me when I don't look at them." She pressed a hand to her forehead when Charlie started trying to eat the rabbit and Micheal upended a juice bottle on her head. "He likes - they both like, winding me up to the high heavens and screaming." As if to prove this Micheal started yelling that he wanted chocolate at the top of his voice. And then it all went quiet, and Micheal and Charlie looked a little dazed for a moment before they fell asleep. "Oops..." Laurie mumbled in a monotone voice. "That was definitely not the end of my patience snapping." She carefully set Micheal down on the sofa, pulling a blanket over him before she smiled at Kage, "Bad habit, anyway, do you want to help me blow up thousands of balloons?"

Skylar smiled, giving a soft chuckle, "hard to say, though I'm leaning towards at least those kids from earlier, -Lucifer and Candle right?- being towards the top, at least Lucifer." He took one of Angela's hands, lacing his fingers through hers and laid his head lightly on hers again, once more closing his eyes.

Kage gave an amused smile as she listened to Laurie, though watching Charlie. She gave a soft laugh as Charlie attempted to eat the rabbit, and the rabbit just dealt with it, squirming on occasion. She blinked in surprise as Charlie suddenly fell asleep. The rabbit disappeared as she she had to shift her arms quickly since the child was just a lump now. She gave a soft chuckle as she heard Laurie mumble, "understandable." She then put one of her arms up in the air with a grin like a child, "balloons!" She gave a chuckle, nodding in response, "what would you like me to do with Charlie though...?"

Jacob pulled a disappointed face, "darn..." He then smiled slightly, "so your assisting all the teachers? That will be.... interesting..." He then gave a small, quiet laugh at what Mistelteinn said, nodding in agreement. He then tilted his head to the side slightly, his expression turning thoughtful, "wait, the sun is your problem? so... if I do this..." He lifted his hand in an upward gesture and a blanket of shadows moved up from the ground to form a transparent shroud around the angel, "does that maybe help?"
