Valerie started coughing slightly as her eyes turned blue. "Loki. Stop." she choked.

"Me standing in the way." Lassie replied.

Angel nodded.

Loki immediately let go and looked at Valerie. "I am so sorry...I...I just...I'm sorry..." He mumbled, looking down at his feet with a sad sigh.

"You're not standing in the way." Victor said, biting his lip. "Lassie...I don't think you understand how important you are to me as a friend." He added quietly.

Valerie let herself drop to her knees, coughing. "It's... fine."

"I know. But I am standing in the way." Lassie replied. "You should be with Remus, not worrying about me."

Angel padded toward Victor and Lassie.

Loki knelt down in front of her and pulled her into a hug. "I...I really should have known better...It's obviously not fine...I feel like a monster..." He said quietly.

"But...I can't just let you go...I mean...Please stay? I swear you're not standing in the way." Victor pleaded.

Angel padded up to Lassie and Victor.

Loki sighed and laid his head on her shoulder. "I've been so stupid lately..." He whispered, sighing yet again.

"Lass...I'm begging you. Don't go." Victor pleaded again, gripping her shoulder tighter. "Please."

"You're making this harder than it has to be." Lassie replied.
