Miroku smiled as he held his newborn son, cradling him in his arms. He looked up as he watched the twins running around, playing with each other. Miroku then looked over at Sango, smiling happily.

Anju
Perched on a branch a few yards away, Anju was watching Inuyasha and the others from a distant away, wondering if they had noticed her yet. She sighed and reached into her skirt's pocket, retrieving the jewel shard that she had found a few weeks ago. So, this is a shard of the Sacred Jewel that everyone if fussing over., she though as she looked from the shard to the group.

Sango smiled back at him as she hung up clothes to dry them

Anju
Hearing the command, Anju's head whipped back up to see the half-demon's face buried in the ground, " What the... " she said, not realize the volume of her voice. She had spoken louder then she meant too, and rushed to cover her mouth, dropping the shard, " No! " she whispered, trying to grab it, but misses. It landed on the ground, making a high-pitched chiming noise. Anju gasped and wrapped her tail around the branch, trying to reached it, but it was out of reach.

Miroku
Miroku smiled down at his son as he slept, rocking him back and forth in his arms. He looked over at Inuyasha, Kagome, and Shippo, seeing Kagome use the 'sit' command made him chuckle. Then, Miroku heard a russleing of leaves coming from the woods, and his attention was immediately turned there, " Did anyone else hear that? " he said, standing up and facing the woods.

Kagome smiled and then senses a jewel shard and turned her head to the tree Anju was and saw the jewel shard drop, looking over to Miroku to answer his question. "Ya and I sensed a jewel shard over there"

Sango finished the clothes before she hear rustling and turned to face the forest and walked up next to Miroku

Miroku
Miroku looked from Sango to Kagome, " Where'd it come from? " he asked, also seeing the jewel shard fall. How strange, he thought as he stared into the woods.

Anju
The half-demon gasped, seeing as the group had spotted the shard, How did she know about the shard?, she thought, pulling herself up, and watching the group. She jumped down from the branch she was on, but accidently landed on a branch, " Really... " she said as the noise echoed. She then began to look around for the jewel shard, tring to find it quickly.

Kagome walked toward the tree spotting the jewel shard, and picked it up

Sango followed behind Kagome looking around as Kagome picked up the jewel shard and then looked up to the sound

Anju
She noticed the girl, Kagome, pick up the shard, then baring her claws, " Mourning Slash! " she shouted out, beginning to attack Kagome with her claws.

Miroku
Following Sango, he heard the girl shout out an attack, " Sango, protect Kagome! " he yelled, trying to do the same.

Kagome looked up at the attack words surprised, and held onto the jewel shard tighter

Sango grabbed Kagome and jumped away from the tree and took out a hidden knife she still had with her

Miroku
Miroku handed Lady Kaede his son, and lunged towards the demon, trying to hit her, but missed. He sighed, and looked at the demon, " What do you want was Kagome! " he said, guarding Kagome. Knowing that Sango could protect herself, he focused more on Kagome.

Anju
By missing, Anju landed on the ground where Kagome was standing just moments before, her head facing Miroku and Kagome's direction, " Give back my shard of the sacred jewel! " she said, beginning to attack once more, " Mourning Slash! " she yelled, aiming for Kagome. From what I now, I should steer clear from the monk and demon slayer. The girl doesn't look very strong,she thought as she moved in for the attack.
