When Miroku was a young boy, he was raised by one of his father's friend, Mushin, after his father was sucked into a hole in his hand called the 'Windtunnel'. His grandfather was cursed by a demon named Naraku, and the 'Windtunnel' was pasted down to his father, then to Miroku. To protect himself from the power of the 'Windtunnel', he wraps prayer beads around his left arm, cancelling out the power. Before meeting Inuyasha and Kagome, Miroku traveled the country-side as a traveling monk, reading the palms of many women and removing demons from villages. Sango, a demon slayer, often calls Miroku a 'womenizer', because to ever women he meets, he asked them if they would bear him a son. He eventually joins Inuyasha, Kagome, Shippo, Sango, and her demoncat, Kilala, to defeat Naraku, freeing himself from the curseo the 'Windtunnel'

Personality:
Miroku has often been called a 'womenizer'. He flirts with every women he comes in contact with, and asks them to bear him a son, which do not go well with Sango. He has a somewhat cautious approach to things and is often looking out for his friends.

At the age of six, her mother was murdered by the villagers, who feared demons, and her father died in pursuit to save Anju. Anju fled from the village, and has been living alone the woods ever since the event. One ay, anju caught the scent of a half demon, a.k.a Inuyasha, and was frightened slightly. Most demons that approach her have tried to kill her, but the curiousity got the better of her. She has been following them for a few days now, being carefully not the reveal herself.

Personality:
Anju is a fiery-spirited half-demon, despite her past. She loves a good fight, but has no real fighting experience. Since her parents' death, she has feared humans and has no companions.
