Manami was a short yet slim girl who was no match for the tree next to her. She had her bright blue eyes locked in the words in her chapter book currently. The only thing that shook her out of her daze was her long black hair blowing into her face from the gentle breeze. She stood up, clutching her backpack as she deposited her book into it. She slipped the strap over her shoulder and looked up at the sky. She decided she had spent enough time reading after school and now needed to get home. She slipped throughout the school-grounds, beginning to take place when a black and white notebook caught her attention. Maybe someone dropped it. As she approached it, she glanced around. Why would anyone be back here, anyways? It was so dark and mysterious. Slowly, she bent down and picked it up. Just then she noticed the title. "Death Note?" She echoed softly aloud, blinking in curiosity. She slowly began flipping through the blank pages as if she would find the name of the person, but on the inside of the cover she found.. the rules for the 'Death Note'? What was this thing? Some type of.. joke?

Felix.
A lone girl wandered aimlessly around the Schoolyard-Sure, she knew school was already out..However, she was hungry. You know what to do. Her lips broke into a small smile at the very thought. What about that kid over there? Felix's attention had been directed to a boy who was nibbling on a sandwhich. Felix honestly couldn't care less if someone was watching, and then she ran at the child.

"I think this'll be mine." Felix gasped and clutched the sandwich, staring wide-eyed at the boy who was now on the grass. For a moment, she frantically glanced around, praying not be seen. Must..Avoid..Windows. With that, she began to scramble out of sight.

Vincent.
Nervously, Vincent pointed his remote at a blank screen. He knew his favorite horror show was about to air. At once the screen showed a dark figure looming over a girl-And Vincent had leaned forward in anticipation. "R-run.." Vincent rasped at the screen, all the while clutching his disfigured throat. Seconds later, he had shivered at the girl's scream, and abruptly closed his eyes. Vincent had a fetish with horror movies such as this-It thrilled and scared him, they even made it hard for him to breathe at times. "She..Died." Was all he mumbled, before turning off the television.

Skoll rolled his eye's, passing the group of gambling shinigami, not far from him, one of them glanced over to him, and he was sure they'd ask him to play. He wasn't much of a gambler, and that was all you could do in the shinigmai realm these days, wander and gamble. "Hey, Skoll, come here and play a game or two with us," the largest of the group shouted over to him in a hoarse voice. Skoll shook his head, his long hair sweeping in front of his blazing red eye's. "Nah, I'm going to check out the human world... I think I may have dropped my 2nd death note down there," he replied, not looking at them, still walking towards the portal. The large shinigmai shrugged, "I hear it's very... interesting," he said, "Try the apples, they're... juicey," he finished, chuckling.

Skoll nodded, and sproted his wings, jumping down the portal, and flying down into the human world. He looked around, flying towards where his death not had gone, since as a shinigmai you know where they are, it's just a sense of some sort. He landed in the tree watching it. "There it is, is that girl going to touch it?" he said to himself, waiting to see if she did or would.

Manami started walking towards the book, picking it up and running a hand across its dirted cover. "Death Note," she muttered to herself aloud as she read the white title. She blinked her bright blue eyes and turned the cover, almost as if expecting someone's name to be written in it, but instead she found.. rules.. for this 'Death Note?' Curiously, she glanced around, standing and wondering who had dropped it was still nearby. Shrugging to herself, she slipped it into her backpack. Might as well and see if it was somebody at her school's tomorrow.

Skoll smirked, "She touched it, she can see me now," he whispered, flying out of the tree, silently, following her. He looked her over real quick, female, probably not going to be as interesting as I thought, he thought to himself. He kept a small smirk on his face, "I see you found my death note," he said floating behind her, still following her. He knew she could hear him, and see him, and her reaction would be interesting, specially in public, where no one else could see him.

Manami blinked, nodding and beginning to slip it out of her bookbag. This was easier than she thought. "Yes, you must be the owner, so--" she began softly, slowly turning to face him, yet squeaking when she saw him and almost falling backwards. She only managed to keep a grip on the notebook. Her face raced with heat as she struggled with the Death Note, heart racing. It would be so embarrassing if I screamed.. She thought, turning away from him and closing her eyes. "H-here.." she spoke, holding it out to him with her heart pounding. It was almost odd because normal people would of probably fainted, but she has been though.. a lot.
