Erick gave a little whimper and backed away, frantic. Eyes untrusting. "You... you sold me out!" He cried and began to back away, turning and bolting away frantically.

"Sounds like I should be sad to have missed it..." His eyes on Beren, he almost did not notice Blaxton cleaning the blood from his hands. Ahren's eyes glowed for a minute, blinking at Blaxton with something that might have been curiousity. He glanced at his hands. "If you insist. The taste of blood helps me think...'' He glanced at the bowl, gently putting a hand on Blaxton's shoulder. "I think we should leave hm to his... thoughts...''

Blaxton nodded and walked out, closing the door and locking it, muttering a spell to keep it closed as he looked to his king "What do you suggest we do now?"

Ahren sighed, glancing at his knight. He slowly strolled down the dank hallway, indicating he wanted Blaxton to come with him. ''I have a little bit of paperwork in my study... but if you have any suggestions I should be glad to partake in them. '' The prince thought a moment. ''However, your usual services are at the moment, dull in my grasp, as I have no one yet for you to kill... we will see soon my friend.''

Beren gritted his teeth, his fists clenched hard enough to draw blood from where his fingernails gouged the skin. He watched the bowl, then turned his gaze aside; Erick's behaviour wasn't helping how he felt at the moment. He relaxed his hands, closing his eyes with a deep breath, trying to calm himself. He had tried to be indifferent before, and it had worked to some extent, but he couldn't do it with Erick going crazy because of what he thought he did to Beren.

Erick quickly wove a few spells together to create a copy of himself, much like Beren had done before bolting off, grabbing his bows and arrows. He ran through the woods, tears stingign his eyes as he simply ran. Away from everything. His dead freind, his clone, the soilders, the arcanist society. Everything.

ericks clone slowly walked back to arthur, eyes downcast. There was no difference between him and the real Erick. He was just sent so they wouldnt go after him. so erick wouldnt die.

Much like a cat, Sahana's ear twitched. The forest was awake... and seemed quite upset. Something was up, and if it bothered her home, it bothered her. Her fiery, unnatural orange eyes swept the trees. Send it her way... send trouble her way... why not? She channeled her magic carefully, willing nothing it touched to burst into flame. No fire... no destruction. Find the problem... Her eyes closed again, palms toward the trees. Please work. Please work. Bring it-no... it was a him... bring him here... guide the weary...

Blaxton nodded "soon enough we will both feel the spash of blood and our swords slicing through flesh." He said and smirked "until then, we will simply wait, and possible use the elf. Erick. He sent a copy to die in his place, that will still spark war. But we can use him."

erick tripped, falling to the floor and skidding, leaving a smear of blood as he gasped in pain.

Ahren nodded once more, biting his lip in thought, green eyes noticably clouded over with his thoughts. He was listening though. "Indeed. Manipulation is easily our forte with you around Blaxton... I don't know how everything would get done without you..."

Sahana sighed, standing. Her feet fit oddly in her boots, but she didn't mind, quickly moving thropugh the forest. Besides the fact she had set something on fire- however, she had extinguished this as quickly as possible- the calling magic was making the situation worse and not really working in the slightest. So she hurried along, dodging minor pitfalls and staying as silent as she could.

Blaxton smirked and gently pulled Ahrens lip from between the teeth. He raan his finger over the skin, collecting the blood on his pristine leather gloves and licking them off. "You shouldnt do that." He added in a deep voice before turning. "Is there any buisness you would like me to attend to?"

Erick groaned and tried to get up, stumbling down again as he panted. he lost too much blood. The Elf gripped the leaves and pulled, attempting to crawl but just pulling leaves to him. He dug his hands into the dirt under themand managed to drag dimself slightly foreward before his arm gave out and he let hs hands go limp. "B....Beren...."
