Erick cheered and hugged Beren happily, grinning. He stopped at the sound of the howl and growled lowly "Wolf-man." He said in a soft voice, looking around. He had dealt with them before, and they are not nice. "Stay on gaurd. We dont know where it is." The elf was tense, his cheerfulness faded away to be replaced with serious concern for his new freinds saftey, and his old freind in the woods.

Arthur narrowed he eyes, then sighed, muttering something to himself after hearing the howl. "I'm not exactly sure if any of of will be sleeping at all," He murmered to Nightlock. If Erik was right, then they were all in serious danger; wolfmen were unpredictable, losing all morality along with their normal looks. Instead of whoever it had been, they were replaced by deadly wolf-like creatures strong enough to maul a bear. "It might not be best to stay out after all," He frowned, unsure what the group should do.

Nightlock shook her head and sighed. "Well what do you expect us to do? It's not like there's a cabin near by that's empty." She muttered crossing her arms, hearing another howl she jumped closer to Arthur and relaxed a little sighing. She looked at Erick and Beren, then up at Arthur. "I mean unless you know a place." She told him softly as she tilted her head to the side.

Arthur frowned, looking as if he knew a bit of of information, but was wary to share it. "Well I know of an abandoned structure a little ways into the woods, though it'd be a risk traveling there in such little light. Plus, there'd be no guarantee we'd be safe; Those creatures are strong enough to break through walls."

Nightlock nodded and sighed. "Good point, I just don't know what we could do." She stated softly as she leaned her head against his chest, staring at the ground. She wrapped her arms around herself and whined softly as she started to shake, now that it came to mind, the thought of a wolf-man scared her to death; let alone coming close to one, that would be worse.

Erick knockhed his bow and shot it off into the trees, the direction Arthur indicated the cabin to be. In its wake it left a trail of light, illuminating the path. "It wont last forever, we need to go." He said as he hooked his bow over his shoulder and looked over to them. "You guys coming? Arthur, I need you to point us in the direction so I can light the path." The elven archer said with a grin "Because Im actually useful at times, unlike you all thought."

Beren glanced nervously in the direction of the howl, but tried to shrug it off and looked in the direction of the light spell Erick had cast. He didn't complain about the magic, though; it didn't seem like a waste of magic to him, so he said nothing and instead drew his own bow and a couple of arrows without a word, nodding to indicate he would follow.

Nightlock looked over at Erick and nodded her head sighing. "Fine, I know you don't like me much but I don't want to die." She muttered turning her gaze back to the ground and closing her eyes. She didn't care what his comment would be at this point she just wanted to get out of the woods and for the night to end. Leaning her head back onto Arthur's chest she stayed silent, trying hard to relax and not shake.

The sound of their hearts filled his ears and the stench of their scent filled his nostrils. He faced towards them following the scent he had made as a human straight to them. His muzzle was covered with blood from the deer. He had completely leaned it of any meat and was still hungry.

Personailty

As the Dark Prince of Regalia, Ahren is, in the least, not very nice at all. He’s rather sarcastic, treats basically everyone like dirt. His ultimate aim is war and chaos, wich he thinks will best aid his rise to power. He’s a little unhinged, with a tendency to explode at the simplest things. However, despite all this, he seems to have a strange connection with animals, and gets along with them well.

Description/Picture

(*cracks fingers*) His hair is rather short, except for his bangs, which fall across his face to the left side. His skin is a deathly pale, contrasting with his raven black hair. Ahren has deep green eyes that are usually very catlike. His taste for finer things has been ruined by his own need for power, and his style of dress is quite simple. He usually wears a full length black cloak, much as a mage might, and lightweight leather armor. As a result of several attempts at assassination, he carries two short swords at all times and a concealed dagger. He wears a simple silver circlet, almost as if to remind himself he is not king yet.

Short History

Trained at an early age in many things- such as weaponry of almost every kind, politics, war strategies, and basically the fundamentals of ruling a kingdom- Ahren watched his father die at the hands of others, while he and his mother escaped. The rest of his years, growing up, were always desperate and hard. He is quite over many things, and his one true goal is to take what he believes to be rightfully his. It is said his heart s made of ice, and other rumours say he had a sorcerer take it out and lock it in a box which only he had the key to. A female has yet to catch his fancy, and he almost seems to have a permanent scowl, or a face of stone.
