She stepped back from him and held up her gun. "You're a mutant."

Arthur tilted his head. "We're you talking to me or him?"

"Him" Kaala replied. "You obviously aren't related considering you don't have any family. He always said he was."

[Gelick]

"I guess it may be so," he said fixing his glasses.

[jabberwock]

Kaala raised her eyebrows. "How?"

[Gelick]

"My family was killed by my fellow scientists to cut any more traces of my DNA. I was put into... Ice...?" He said thinking.

[tolkien quitting]

He shrugged and walked in behind her. He pointed to the menu above them, above where the android cashiers were. "So, what would you like?" he asked her, pulling out his wallet.

Hendrietta pulled out her phone and checked the screen of the city, checking for any mutants. A light beeped and she zoomed in to the coordinates of the place. It was where she was standing. Mutant? she thought to herself and turned to look at Hal, a bit shocked.

Hal cocked his head curiously as the beep rung in his ears, "What...?" he asked worried by the look she gave him.

She stepped back from him and held up her gun. "You're a mutant."

Hal held up his hands and stepped back, "No I'm not." he lied, hiding his fear almost perfectly.

She checked her phone again. "I'm don't think so. I updated this an hour ago," she said still holding her gun up. "This is protocol."

Hal took another step back, beginning to worry he wouldn't make it out alive. He stepped on a bottle and fell back. He slowly looked up at her, gulping down the lump in his throat and staying as still as possible. "Why does it matter that I'm mutant?" He asked softly, his voice cracking slightly as he spoke.
