Christi looked at the girl with pity. If she wasn't needed why didn't she just leave? Humans were not important. For the last three years, Christi lived alone. She knew fighting for yourself was more important than...mattering. Wasn't it?

The doctor saw Kaala and called a few more doctors over to help with a stretcher. He shone a light in Kaala's eyes. "Do you know what she's taken?" he asked Eria.

Christi saw the nice girl cry over the mean girl. Why? Maybe the mean girl wasn't as mean as Christi thought her to be? Or the nice girl was too nice and cared. It didn't matter. Christi need to get herself out of this.
