He sighed and gave her a minute to run. He had been like that as a child; after the fire incident and when he found out about his powers. He was scared of the world, and everything in it. 'She'lkl get used to it someday..' he thought to himself before jumping off the tree and running after her with much speed.
These frogs capture exactly how I feel half the time. It's gr8.

Christi glanced back. She could speed up somehow. Make herself go 5 times faster that the whole world. Speed up time around her. But that ruled out, since she wasn't sure how.

He sighed. Why was he following after this girl? There wasn't anything special about her. He flew up and continued to to follow after her.

Christi finally managed to concentrate. Time flew fast. And the world around was slow. She "slowed" to a jog, still being much faster that her run. She felt her hair flow behind her. She was controlling herself. A nice change, though not permanent.
