Lucas got up. "I wasn't asleep, I was awake. I was just helping her sleep. I swear." He said.

Lucas laid down on the pull out bed.

Mason nodded. "You're d*** right it won't." He said. "Now get to sleep. I have Trinity for tonight."

Maria sighed, sitting on her bed. "No, let me have her. I'm awake now."

Mason sat on the end of Maria's bed. "You need sleep. Your health will deteriorate if you don't get sleep."

"I'm letting you have a break. Look at you, you're exhausted. You need sleep." Mason said.
