Shane's eyes flitted around the Guild for a few moments before coming to rest on the Job Board. He stood from his seat at the bar, and walked over, hands in his pockets. "Slay..find..trick..kill.." he muttered, reading the jobs softly to himself. He found one that seemed remotely interesting. "Recover a lost little girl. Reward...200,000 Jewel?!"

Terezi
I looked (smelled) around, trying to find a new, interesting taste. Feathers? There was a guy that smelt like soft white feathers! She walked up to him and gave an impossibly wide grin, "Hello! I'm Terezi Pyrope the pyromaniac of this guild! And you are?"

(Indeed. Is she blind or something?)

Turning around, the flyer still in his hands, he looked at her. "Shane Tarren." he said, smiling. He wondered if he should kiss her hand or something. He blew a few strands of pale hair out of his face, setting the flyer down. "It's nice to meet you. I haven't seen you before." he said smoothly, leaning against the board casually.

"Well I haven't smelled you around before," Terezi said and shook his hand. Then she sniffed the air again,, realizing he had a flyer in his hand. "Whatcha got their Mr. Cake?" She had called him that because he really did smell like cake to her, White chocolate cinnamon cake to be precise.

"Mr.Cake?" he asked after a moment, reregistering what she had said. "Huh? Oh, a flyer. For a job worth 200,000 Jewel. You maybe wanna come?" he asked. "Do I really smell like cake?" he sniffed his hand. "I don't think I do." he said with a smile.

Terezi
She cackled. "I didn't explain this did I?" Terezi asked and adjusted her red glasses, "I'm blind. And the only way I can see is through smeeeelling and tasting." Her nose drifted to the flyer but she quickly moved away, realizing she couldn't read it anyway. "Yeah, I'll go."

He nodded, then realizing she couldn't see it, said "Okay." he thought for a minute. "Wait, aren't you the Fire Mage? My friend told me you can also manipulate people, huh?" he asked. "The Job is to rescue a little girl from a demon, 200,000 Jewel."

"Yep! But I only use it occasionally," Then Terezi gave a dark grin and said, "So you might not want to get on my bad side.Sending a mental message to the bartender, she got the job approved and said, "We're ready to go!" As she walked out of the guild, Terezi put her dragon cane over her shoulder and said, "What are you waiting for Mr. Cake?"

He narrowed his eyes jokingly. "Mr. Cake is coming." he said, and looked at the flyer again. "Here, it's near the Train Station." he said after a moment, walking after her. He mentally leafed through his armors and weapons, wondering which one would be best.
