Into the Future: A Death-Note Roleplay

Alice stared down at her Death Note in her lap. Honestly, it wasn't extremely intelligent to have it in public, but if someone saw her, she had the eyes. So they would die. She tapped the cover with her fingers before opening it up, glancing over the names of people. Not all of them really deserved to die, but... Marie snapped into place in her mind, laughing at the long list of names. "Who should I kill next? Hm.." she thought out loud. Rie stood beside her, smirking slightly. This child was completely crazy, but that made the world that much more interesting.

Tina hurried down the street, struggling along with the small group of dogs she was walking. She knew that some of the owners had harnesses, but they were never used. She reached into her pockets, sighing when she realized she had snatched the wallet of the person she last bumped into. She didn't mean to steal things, but it seemed she did so out of habit alone. Oh well, it helped pay the bills.

She noticed a girl sitting, not far off and it seemed she hadn't noticed her yet. Emma turned an leapt into the safety of the tree she had been siting under moments before. Otoko sighed watching as Emma leapt up beside him "why so jumpy Emma?" he asked.Emma glared at the Shinigami"you know how sharp and accurate my instinct is, and my instinct tells me to stay hidden" she whispered

Marie pulled out her feather pen, tapping it against her jeans. "Who's turn is it to write in my handy dandy notebook?" she wondered out loud with a sadistic laugh. A smirk spread across her lips before she wrote down several people who bothered her. Alice snapped back into control, shutting the book without looking at the names. She put away the pen, standing up on her feet to wonder around.

She watched curiously noticing the notebook and thought "is that?" she whispered looking at Otoko who remained silent "you wouldn't tell me no matter what, your possibly the most annoying shinigami I've met" she said smirking a she dropped down watching the girl

Alice's eyes trailed down the ten added names. She frowned a little when she glanced at the names of multiple criminals. "Why did I..? No..That's murder," she whispered out loud, falling back down against the tree.

Mason walked the streets with his younger sister, Kimmy, following not too far behind. Rou floated above him, a huge on his face. That shinigami was strange... Mason't thoughts drifted back to last night. He had written about 12 pages in the Death Note, most people were for no good reason, of course. He would have written more if Kimmy hadn't knocked on the door. It was about the 5th time she'd almost caught him in the act. Speaking of her, she tapped on his shoulder "Mason! I wanna go to the arcade." she whined. She was 13 and acted like a 7 year old. Mason sighed and gave her 10 dollars from his pocket "There. I'll come get you in an hour."
