The Travelers (open, but a little rough)

In the real world, centuries ago, there lived a small, elite group of people who knew the secret to travel between the universes. For the most part, the land was peace-except for the fact the citizens of the NightRealm were going to try to open the passage between the universes for all. What the citizens don't know, however, is about the people who started this movement. Behind it?

An angry man, wanting revenge.

His name is John-Philip, and using some form of Dark Magic, he gave himself a longer life span so he could se his beloved dream fulfilled. The reason why? He is a Traveler, and wants the power of all three universes for himself. So during one of the meetings of the Travelers, they made a decision-five against one-to write the secrets of traveling through time into their DNA, and the secrets would awaken from dormancy only when one of the worlds was in the gravest possible danger. As their powers faded, the Travelers used the last of their magic to send two Travelers to each universe. John-Philip and Acrobis went to the NightRealm, Cherri and Malayne to the Dreamworld, and Rowana and Kayscha to our universe.

Now John-Philip, after these centuries, has only had one son, who had a son, who had a son. John-Philip the Fourth is now following his great-great-grandfather's mission in life to bind the universes together and acquire the ultimate power. The only ones who can stop him are this generation's Travelers. Will they stay together? Will one betray the others? Will they fall apart? Nobody knows now. It's up to them to live out their destiny.

The NightRealm has two main cities, Caras and Aldur. Aldur is the capital city of the NightRealm and where John-Philip the Fourth has his castle. Black is hung up all over the city. The streets are brick and cars are forbidden, although most modern technology isn't. Caras has much more freedom then the city of Aldur does.

Can you imagine a world with much greater technology than our own, only it's all forbidden? That's the NightRealm, where the stalkers or our own world are twelve thousand times worse.

The Dreamworld is almost exactly like ours. There are too many villages to name, but four provinces. Each one has slightly different rules, which are mostly the same as our basic code of conduct.
