"You will cooperate, my dear," he hissed, and nodded his head closer to her neck, right where the pulse was strongest. He could almost taste her blood already, feel it dripping down his throat. Almost gently, he nipped at the spot, strong enough to draw a little blood from her porcelain flesh. She probably thought he was some sicko, biting down on the skin of her neck, but he needed this blood, and this act would, hopefully, serve for her to agree to his terms. "I can take a lot more blood from you until you become empty and die."

I nodded once, almost a little absently, as I jotted something down on a blank piece of paper. I frowned at my writing for a moment, and then shook my head and looked back up at her. "What kind of blackouts?" I asked, and then I pinched my eyes closed and made a face as I realized that was a truly stupid question to ask. "I mean, do you just have holes in your memory, or are you waking up and realizing that your room is torn apart, of you've hurt someone?" Probably not the best description, but it would have to do. I'm sure she knew what I meant anyway.

I rolled of my bed with a groan, and decided that I couldn't hide up here forever; might as well go get some food... So I stood, grabbed the first pair of slacks I could find and yanked them on. I moved down the hallway quietly, as most vampires do, and I was down the stairs and headed for the kitchen before anyone could even attempt to have a conversation with me. I opened the fridge, yanked out the barbecued chicken that was in there, and ripped off a huge chunk of the breast. White meat was the only kind that I liked... As I was stuffing it in my face like a glutton, I realized there was someone else in the room... I stared at her for a moment before I quickly swallowed what was in my mouth. "Hey." I muttered, tilting my head curiously. She was paler than she should be for a human... "You don't look so good. Are you okay?"

Em looked up slightly startled, she hadn't seen him walk into the room. She smiled weakly as if to say she was okay. There wasn't any reason why a vampire should bother with a human or even ask if they were doing okay, after all it wasn't like humans were a big deal, they could be easily replaced. She noticed her weak smile hadn't completely convinced him she was okay. She tried finding her voice but being weak it took some strength."I'm fine, thank you for asking." She answered politely and took a small bite out of her sandwich carefully chewing. She'd recover by tomorrow, a half gallon was a bit to much from someone her size, plus the extra he took because Em had angered him. She knew he hadn't ment to take any more than his quota, but when you're upset you can't always control it. Glancing away for a second to watch the world that rested outside the house. Then noticing the other vampire hadn't left she figured she'd have to talk to him. However, she wasn't about to say anything about last night's feeding.

A sadistic smirk worked its way onto his face and he swiped his tongue over the wound he had created, humming in satisfaction. "Good choice," he whispered, and turned his head to look at her face, "Let's get down to business, shall we? I need a servant, someone who will do good at whatever I ask of them. That is you," he began, and ran his tongue over his teeth, "In order to stay alive, I will require a Drink from you, perhaps every three months or so." Would she understand what he wanted and what he was? There was one way to secure it; his smirk turned into a smile and his ivory fangs glinted in the dull light of the alleyway.

"Oh, yes, my dear," he whispered as he watched her eyes widen and her jaw slacken, "I am a creature of the night." He shifted slightly, transferring his weight to one side and pulled out a small pistol. "Now, we head to my home. Stand in front of me, and I will direct you." he ordered, stepping to the side a little to allow her to step in front of him. If she tried to escape... Well, he had the pistol at the read. She'd be dead within seconds.

An eyebrow raised and he cocked the pistol with the pad of his thumb before moving to grasp her shoulder so he could spin her and place the barrel of the firearm hard into her back. Dark eyes glistened with humour and he shook his head, almost raven locks creating flickering shadows over his face. "Precautions, you see," he told her in an almost cat-like purr, "I'm sure you understand. Besides, I can't have you running off when you're so promising." He certainly couldn't; he'd have to kill her if she escaped, and he didn't want to do that, as the circumstances could lead to awkward questions.
