Miki sat in a tree, her stomach growling. "How the heck am I supposed to get food?" she snapped at her belly, but then gave a sigh, sweatdropping. "Yelling isn't going to get me no where."

Rin looked around the area, trying to figure out how they could get out.

Inuyasha gently pressed against Kagome, shooting a glare at the vampire wolf for a moment, easily detecting him, then began looking for the illusion again.

The illusion contemplated on what it should do. It couldn't get Kagome without taking Inuyasha as well...but if it could seperate them... it grinned. "This might work," it mumbled.

Midoriko appeared with a small flash of pure light, looking calmly around her at the slightly misty area for Dotachi and Rin.

Kagome looked up at Inuyasha when she felt him press against her.

Rin felt she had seen a flash of light. "Hey, Dotachi.." she whispered, a bit scared, but she felt a sudden flood of relief. She didn't know why, though.

Inuyasha growled softly, shooting a hesitant look at Kagome before looking around some more. A moment later, he was on the ground with a loud curse, covering his ears while screwing his eyes shut. "DAMN IT!"

The illusion opened its jaws, smirking as it let out a familiar high pitched screeching noise -highly painful to demons and half-demons alike.

Midoriko began to walk in the direction of the children, giving a sigh.

"Inuyasha!" Kagome gasped kneeling down beside him. She rested her hand on his shoulder before looking up for where the illusion was.

Rin decided it was just her imagination. Sighing, she sat under a tree.
