For the most part Aria is withdrawn and quiet, but when she has an idea or opinion she won't hesitate to stand up and speak. Underneath the surface she has anger issues, and can lash out without warning. Unless she disagrees with something, she is usually happy to go along with others and live quietly. However when she does disagree, she can become stubborn and insistant, even disobeying orders from the alpha.

Aria left her planet at a very young age, so she cannot remember it at all. She dreams of returning there someday, but knows this is most likely never going to happen. On earth she never settled down, moving from place to place. Sometimes she worked odd jobs to make money. A few times she ran into the police, but managed to get away after escaping into a zoo. After hearing about the group she decided to seek them out and join.

}}. ninana has a bit of an african name, don't you think? it suits her ability to shift into a leopard perfectly, hense the reason why her father bestowed it apon her. at first, her parents wanted something classy, a name everyone would smile when they heard. nala elena summerlin was their first choice, her first name being the female lion's name in the lion king by disney, and elena being her mother's name, but when their daughter ws born they knew she would not be a lion like her mother like her parents had hoped, but a leopard like her father. they still favored a first name beginning with an n, and before they knew it, the name nina popped into their mind. ninana soon followed after a conversation, nina feline summerlin. she goes by nina, of course, and sometimes nana. she is eighteen years old, and the alpha female of the werecats. she is a proud leopard leader.

}}. nina has had a bit of a rough history. living in alorah has proven to be difficult for all, but more so for nina simply because her shifting powers were forbidden by an unnatural source up until the age of thirteen. it's pretty hard, considering more children are given it around age seven, so nina already knew of everything, but when she past that age and still nothing came of her supposive talents, the elders were stunned. had the shifting gene been passed through so profoundly that it eventually died out? was there a human amongst the shifters that was breaking the laws by knowing about them? it was difficult to say, and so the elders forced ninana's parents to shunn their daughter from the guardians of alorah and she was forced to live amongst humans. the world she knew was taken away from her, and she didnt fancy it very much.
she lived away from the shifters up until the age of thirteen years, where then her life changed profoundly. she was walking home to an apartment she managed to pay for, though she was struggling all alone, when a man blocked her path and refused to allow her further passage. he snatched her by the wrist, pulled her behind a building, and raped her. in her eyes, she was a meer human. she was no match for his sheer strength and size, up until his grip on her released. a deep, rumbling anger bubbled inside her, one she'd never felt before, and the next thing she knew she was on all fours and before her was a massive leopard paw that was slashing the man, turning up and killing him. she was a shapeshifter after all, a leopard in fact! never before had she felt as much pride, inspite the bleeding corpse before her. she went back to the guardians of alorah, explained the situation, and she was granted readmission.
however, she didnt expect for one thing to happen: matthis. her pregnancy and his exhistance came as a mortal shock to her and the rest of the g.o.a. the pregancy stage went by in a blur, not really effecting her life as much as she would have presumed, but the little bundle that came with it effected her life in ways she couldnt imagine to be better. her baby boy: matthis lincoln summerlin. matthis himself is a shapeshifter, though still rather young, and can shape himself into a leopard just like his mother.

}}. honey suckle. a bumblebee poised to attack. its the first feeling one gets overwhelmed with when first setting their sights apon the golden leopard. her pelt was as soft as a freshly bought blanket, no wire strands but cotton. her spots are as black as night itself, that of one with an eclipse. her ears are rarely erect, the rounded over triangles more so pressed back against her broad skull. the thickliness of her pelt thicks as it outstretches down her neck, chest, and underbelly, thinning out down her legs, tail, and back. her eyes are a matching gold when in leopard form. her head is slender, a broad neck and feverishly large paws; they make for excellent stability and climbing capacity. she has a nimble body structure, thin but lean, and a tail that reaches the same length as her body as a whole, tough and broadly tightened. her underbelly is a surprising snow white, making her seem much smaller to prey when during winter. with an acute mahogony flashed nose to top it off, one would say she is marvelously breathtaking when in leopard form.
when in human form, she is just as beautiful. with iridesent features and skin as smooth as it appears, hair as hazel as the iris around her wide pupils. with sunkissed skin that is naturally tan, and no make up apon her face to overexceed her elegant simplicity, she catches the eyes of both girls and guys, for more reasons than one. her hair reaches about midback length, a light wave tinted apon the light brunette locks. her hair is consistantly soft, much like her leopard fur, and her face is regal, statuetic. she weighs a striking hundred and thirty pounds and is a meer five foot eight inches tall. she is simple, nothing
too exotic about her, but she is beautiful.

}}. matthis lincoln summerlin. his mother, ninana summerlin, didnt want an everyday name. she herself posessed the benefits of both being a leopard shapeshifter and having an eyecatching name and she fancied both, so what better than to pass not only the genes to her son, which he was sure to get already, but also a name that defined him in a simple handful of words? she'd read in a book about a boy with exceptional simplicity, and yet, he won the hearts of all those around him. nina desperatly wanted her child to be much loved, because of course, every child deserved to feel the warmth in their hearts from others, and when she looked into his eyes, a sparkler was lighted and the heat was as consistant as ever. his middle name is just an addition to the name that nina liked. matthis goes by a simple matty or lincoln, and he is a meer six years old. he is a leopard shifter himself, however, because he is so young he has yet to be able to master his shifting abilities. therefore, his powers are considered to be a ticking time bomb.

}}. matthis lives a pretty decent life; his mother has made sure of it. due to her history, lincoln came as a bit of a shock to both nina and the g.o.a., but his birth was made possible because nina had no shifting abilities during the time she was raped by a human. nina in no way regrets being raped; it hasnt effected her as much as it would a human, but she thinks thats partely because she got to slit the throat of the guy in the end, ultimatly killing him.
matthis is far too young to be apart of any team at the moment, however he is permitted to tag along if supervised by either nina or a volunteer profoundly. this is so because not only is he a major handful, but because shifters are constantly in hiding amongst humans and matthis's shifting abilities are as unstable as life, he is known to shifting into the petite leopard he is at any given moment in time. the 'ticking time bomb' as he's so affectionatly called.
