Brayden smiled

Joshua was shocked by her sudden outburst. Though he did not know this girl entirely he figured she wouldn't mind a bit of comfort. The world was being taken over zombies anyways. Joshua leaned forward hesitantly, his arms outstretched toward her. He pulled her closer, then let his hands rub her back gently. "It's alright," He cooed softly, placing his chin on the top of her head. "Just think: at least he doesn't have to suffer through all this." Joshua's strong muscles rippled once again beneath his tan skin.

Caydence sat curled up in a tight ball still pressed closely to the wall. She tried to calm her racing mind, but nothing seemed to help. "He'll be back soon. He just went a-after that g-girl," She told herself in a shaky voice. "No zombie could get into this building." Caydence lifted a hand and ran it through her tangled long brown hair.

Joshua finally pulled away gently from the the girl. "I don't think you've told me your name yet. I'm Joshua, but please, call me Josh," He said with a friendly smile that quickly faded. "But don't call me Joshie!"

She laughed "I'm Jessa and I wouldnt dream of it" she said

Joshua let a smirk slip onto his face, then he chuckled softly. "Our names sound freaking awesome together. Josh and Jess," He tested the names together. "We could be like partners in crime or something. Josh and Jess! We've come to save you from these dead, yet living monsters!"

Joshua glanced over at Jessa. "Well, you seem like your in a better mood. Why don't you come meet my sister," He said. His hear sank when he remembered he had left her in that room all alone. Joshua jumped to his feet, then held a hand out for her.
