Izzy nodded intently listening as he spoke. Her eyes flickered to his arm when he looked at it. She tilted her head ever so slightly as she continued to listen. So she's not a vampire fan she thought. Then again most people weren't. She smiled when she heard his question though she could tell something was worrying him. "My family to say in one word was nice. My mom was the one that took me to everything, she was the one I went to when I was sad, she was like a friend. My dad was the one that did everything with me. He would sit down with me when I needed help, and he knew I wasn't just some delicate flower. That's where they were really different. My mom was more protective when it came to doing things and my dad was more relaxed. Both of them though supported me and they were always there. Also I was an only child. Naturally, they spoiled me rotten. Which is probably why I don't have as much control. I was so used to getting basically everything that I wanted when I wanted it," she said. She looked over at him. "Okay, my turn. What's it like being a shape shifter?" she asked.

He listened to what she said, trying to determine whether talking about her family made her happy or sad. Maybe just a little bit of both Listening to her made him feel slightly better. Although he couldn't shake the uneasy feeling that something was wrong. He chuckled "Lucky you don't have a sister they can be really annoying," he said smiling, and thinking of the good times they had. He glanced back towards the school, the uneasy feeling lingering Something's not right he thought before shifting his attention back to Izzy. Something's definitly not right. He looked at Izzy almost missing her question. "Well its pretty fun for the most part, but it can get really annoying with the dumb animal instincts," he said half thinking about the uneasy feeling in the pit of his stomach. "Not to mention it requires a lot of studying animals, and that can get tedious," he added. "But shifting can be fun, I guess I'm just kind of used to it," he said looking at her pushing the feeling aside. "So what's it like being a vampire, you know besides the unimaginable thirst," he asked. His head quickly turning to face a different direction. Was that a scream for help? he thought he could hardly tell they were so far away from the noise. "Izzy did you hear something," he asked glancing at her,looking slightly worried. Because he was blind he was sensitive to the slightest noise and he normally picked up things other people didn't, he hoped that her being a vampire meant that she could hear the slight noises like he could. Then turning his attention back in the same direction as before, sniffing the air trying to pick something up.

Izzy nodded, listening to him. She chuckled when he talked about thirst. "Well that's actually what I was going to say first. Life pretty much revolves around that. But it can also be kind of lonely after a while," she said. She decided to touch on the downsides first. She stopped when she heard his other question. "Good I thought I was going crazy for a second," she said. "It sounded like a scream, right? Coming from the school?" she asked. She hung from the branch ready to drop down. "Think we should go check it out?" she asked lightly swinging on the branch. "I'll finish answering your question after we make sure everything's okay," she said. It felt weird as she realized how much she was saying "we". For quite some time it had been "I".

"I can imagine, living forever and all," he said refering to the lonely comment. It must have been aweful watching the ones she cared for die when she couldn't. he thought, glancing at Izzy. "Yeah I think it was a scream. I'm glad you heard it to," he said. He was relieved that he wasn't going insane. He dropped down from the branch he was on. "Something's definitely not right," he said, more to himself than to her. Pausing and then repling,"Yeah we should go check it out." He started heading towards the school. As they got closer he said, " After three years here I've never smelled that demon before," turning his head to look at Izzy

Izzy nodded and let go of the branch got out of the tree. She followed behind him as they walked back to the school. "Yea they're new," she said glad he had been there long enough to recognize familiar and unfamiliar scents. "Now is that a good thing or a bad thing?" Izzy asked. She looked at the school, listening and smelling for anything unusual that might give them a hint to what was going on.

He thought about what she asked him. "I'm going to go with a bad thing. We normally don't get students after introduction," he said. "Of course there is always the small possibility that the demon is a new student, or the demon could have something to do with the scream for help," he guessed. "Something tells me the demon is stronger than a student," he said thinking about the unsetling feeling he had about this new demon. He opened the door for her and followed her into the school. Leading her towards the dorm room with the new demon's scent. Beliel, Erica, Claire, Lantic what are they doing here? he walked into the dorm room, "What in the world is going on," he said seeing the mess.

Beliel's head snapped up to the direction of the door. Izzy? Aaron? Where was Claire? Lantic still needed water, he looked back and forth from Lantic to Erica to Aaron and Izzy. "I...uhh....." he nervously rubbed the back of his neck, he truthfully didn't know himself. He looked stressed and tired, his wings were folded around him. "Demon from uhh Hell's Keep? Arioch missing, Giant Demon vs Leviathan battle, Erica shifted? Eh..." he tried to keep his cool composer but he just couldn't.
