Ali smiled as she watched him for a few moments. "You never know if someone is watching or not and I think you have that feeling of someone could be lurking in the shadows as well, do you not?" She asks him and met his eyes.

Aaron laughed. "I can see almost everything from here. No one." he shrugged. "And if someone did see, we can always run. That's what I did for my whole life."

When they got to the end of the block, Taylor stopped and peeked around the corner. Two police officers were pacing back and forth on either side of the street. "There are police here," she whispered. "Just act normal."
She stepped out into the police officers' sight. "Hello, officer," she said politely to the first one they encountered.
He nodded, but before they could pass, he held up his hand up, signaling for them to stop. "Say, you haven't seen any mutants around here, have you?"

taylor flipped her hair behind her shoulder, and walked out. " Morning." She said. When she heard the officers question, she stopped and raised an eyebrow, then she made herself look as if she were trying to remember, " um, not that i can recall. I'll make sure to keep my eye out for them." She nodded, and smiled.

"Well, since we know that she's a mutant, we might as well tell her we are too." Tarryn said
"Or we can point her out to the cops," Sage joked.

Seline giggled. "I'm with Sage. But maybe we can point ourselves out to her before they arrest her!" she said, smiling at Sage.

"Well, the cops havn't seen me yet, and I look like a regular person." Sage pointed out.
"Really?" Tarryn asked. "You guys are so nice," She said sarcastically.

Seline laughed. "I know, right? Soo nice! But I do look like a human, just a little too pretty, and the tail and wings I can hide." she said cheerfully.

"But the police have already seen you, they probably will reconize your face." Sage said.
"Or," Tarryn cut in "We don't tell the police." She suggested.

Seline glared at Sage. "Way to ruin the party!" then she looked at Tarryn. "Well, Tarry, I was being sarcastic! You dot really think that I'd do that, did you?" she demanded, with a hurt look on her face.
