The Final Extreme Prix (Closed)

Alex sighed sadly. She was alone once again. She leaned on the wall, chewing on a peppermint stick she had with her. Now what was she going to do?

Reid ushered the goop into the box carefull not to touch it. Tails helped as well making sure all of it got in the box.
"There we go." Tails said triumphantly as Reid sealed the box.
"Ok, i'll take this somewhere safe." He said turning letting her multi coloured feathers swish behind him. He pause for a moment realizing he was alone. "Um...do you want to come with me?" He asked Tails, Knuckles, and Sonic nervously.
"I'm im if these two are."

Onyx and Liz started combing threw the dorm rooms. Well Liz was detecting for heat signatures, Onyx was kind of just fallowing in suit. Liz stopped abruptly, which startled Onyx. He swung his tail around only for it to wedge into the hallways wall.
"Why are these halls so narrow!" He said putting one foot on the wall and pulling himself out.
"I just got a program from Thaderus, should i download it?"
"Um...no...let Reid or Sypris look it over first for viruses. Just keep looking for Mitch.

Wave saluted back to Echoes as he passed before she looked back at the cat. "Well, he mustn't of thought she was to much of a problem." She said getting back on her board. "And i don't hear anymore commotion, we should do a couple more laps."
"Yeah, thats what i was going to say." Jet said hopping back on his board and zooming away.
Wave and Storm followed behind him, wave stared at the cat as they went by.

Alex stared back, it's just that she was staring at Jet. She was not often used to being alone, and the hawk seemed to have caught her eye.

[blade the hedgehog]

"Don'y you have to get ready for the race Tails?" Sonic asked.
"Was he in this round?" Knuckles asked.
"I don't recall, but I think he was before the explosions happened."

Echoes walked to the main arena, the race was scheduled to start soon and he didn't want to be late. He looked up and saw Thaderus in the team booth. Thaderus was working on something, but Echoes couldn't see it.

Thaderus put some metal plating on the small device infront of him covering up the last of the elctrical components. He wiped some sweat from his brow before disabling the dampaning field in the room. He reached for what looked like a controller and flipped a switch. The device infront of him hummed to life as some lights and a countdown clock appeared on the display of the device. He smiled before shutting the device off.

Blade got up. "Where's Rouge?" Blade asked. "If I recall correctly she should be in the next race."
"I don't remember.' Shadow said.

Tails smacked his forehead. "Right! I totally forgot! I have to get going! I have to go and get my gear still and then get over to the race track...i'll see you guys around!" He yelled as he hopped off to his dorm room.

Reid shrugged as the fox hopped away. "Well if you two want to come the invitation is still open." He said holding the remaining form of Phoenix under his arm.

Jet looked back at the cat who seemed to be staring at him. He didn't get why Wave was so terrified of cats, but then again he didn't fancy the company of bigger birds of prey, except Storm. "You two keep doing laps, i want to check out the new racer and see if shes a threat."
"Fine...but if you get eaten don't say i didn't warn you." Wave said as Jet turned off the course and walked back to the cat.
He sat down beside her on the bench and stretched crossing his legs as he sunk onto the bench.
"So i hear your the new arrival?"

Liz flung open a door revealing a quivering flamingo. Onyx quickly rushed over to his side and un-tied him while Liz kept watch and did a sweep of the room. Mitch pulled out of the chair and immediatly grabbed onto Onyx, shoving himself in his captains downy feathers.
"I thought you wouldn't find me!" He said crying as Onyx held onto him.
"But we did and your safe now." He said gently brushing his feathers.
"Onyx! The shapeshifter recently had a call from a Dr. Eggman." Liz said holding up a phone that was on the bed.
"Call our ship and tell them to be on the look out for any of the doctors ships, but in the mean time we have to go and get ready for the race."

Sypris landed back on the divebombers ship and was instantly greeted by nursery workers who ushered the two hatchlings away from her. She glanced at the number of different birds flying around and getting ready, she could see that they were well prepaired. Sypris started to make her way back to the grand prix ship so she could watch the race.

No sooner had Thaderus left the team booth had Rouge walked in whipping a thick red liquid off of her teeth. She looked around and was surprised that nobody was in there. And in place of them was a contraption that was on count down. "Great, the minute i think i'm good to find a bite something like this happens.." She looked at the box not sure if she should more it or not. She flew out of the booth towards the track, one of them had to be in the race.

((Do you remember who's all going to be racing Blade? I know that there's Tails, Onyx, Phoenix, Echoes...and thats it...))

Alex nodded. "Yup! That's me. And who are you? I can tell you are the leader of your group. You act like it. I myself fancy good leaders." Alex said in an almost flirty manner.

Jet rolled his eyes at the girls comment. "If you don't know who i am then i don't see how you made it into the grand prix." He said putting out his hand to shake "but i guess education is good, i'm Jet the hawk, leader of the babylon rogues, i suggest you learn the name, you'll be seeing it on the leaderboard."

Alex shook his hand with a smiled. "Alex the Cat. I'm on a team most consisted of those with speed, so watch out." Alex smiled some more. "Well, I guess I should be lucky to have such good competition."

[blade the hedgehog]

(Those were to only racers with names in the race.)

Blade walked into the booth as Thaderus returned. Blade noticed thd device on the table. "Thaderus, what this is?" Blade asked. Thaderus shut the device off, the countdown clock stopped and he handed Blade the schematics. Blade looked at the plans. "Minor projectile explosive.... high yeild capacity.... able to attach to ship to ship missles.... Did you intend on adding to the explosuve power of the ships weapons?" Thaderus pointed at a part on the paper near the bottom. "Small thermal detection gear required. Engine busters?" Thaderus nodded. "Not bad." Echoes walked into the room.
"Did I miss anything?" he asked. Blade handed Echoes the paper. Echoes looked it over. "Let me make a few minor corrections." He said. He tookout a pencil and began to scribble some things down. The weapon was now significantly less leathal. Thaderus looked at the plans and undid all the corrections before turning back to work on the device.

Knuckles shrugged his shoulders. "I can come along. What about you?" He asked Sonic.
"I'll pass and help Tails get everything together. See ya." Sonic said before running after Tails.

Rouge spotted Blade and Echoes at the booth and landed again walking in. "There you guys are."

Reid smiled at Knuckles. "Well then, come on..." He said swishing his tail feathers back as he turned "we should take it to Lazers office, he'll be able to watch it for now."

"Hmph." Jet shook Alex's hand. "Well anyways, the race is about to start and i have to gather up the rest of my team...try not to eat to much dirt." He said getting up and heading back to the track. He flicked his board under him and left.
