The Final Extreme Prix (Closed)

Rouge smiled and grabbed her Gear as she walked out of the room closing the door behind them and locking it. "So when are you racing today?" she asked and she started to step down the stairs.

Silver smiled, "Morning Blaze, and you guys ready for breakfast?"

Wave caught up with Jet as they pulled up to the food court. "So...you ready for today?"
"I'm always ready, what are you talking about?"
"...just making sure" She smiled at him a they walked up to one of the food stands and started to pile food onto some trays
They walked together to a table in silence exchanging glances at each other before Storm finally piped up.
"...so what are we going to do when the prix is over...?" he asked as he shoved a peice of fish in his mouth.
"hmm." Jet put his hand on his chin "I guess we'll have to wait and see"

Onyx handed Phoenix a plate with some bacon and eggs on it and she happily dug in. "So I was thinking, you're a really good racer, and well, I was wondering if maybe we could team up?"
"hmm...like an actual team?"
"Yeah." she smiled at him "Come on, it'll be fun"
"well....." He thought for a moment picking one of the little catipillars up out of a box and putting it in his mouth. "yeah, I guess that would be cool"
"Cool" Phoenix hugged him lightly. "This'll be fun just wait and see"

Tails smiled "Good he should be scared of you!" he wagged his tails as his stomach growled. "oh...want to go and find something to eat?"

Marine ran to the door "of course!" All that she was thinking was food

Blaze smiled lightly I guess we are

Silver smiled "good, come on then I'm starving " he smiled as he lifted himself up a little before landing back on the ground "I think I'll walk today" He smiled sheepishly

Silver bent down and pulled Marine up onto his back, "Come on Marine, bet we can beat Blaze downstairs!" He smiled as he started to run for the stairs

Blaze rolled her eyes she thought of how she ran when rouge tried to steal the soul emrald she sprinted off leaving a small trail of fire behind her

Blade and Echoes hopped on their gear and floated over to Sonic and his team. "You guys mind if we walk to the food court with you?" Blade asked, dismounting his gear. "You look like a bunch of nice guys."
"Sounds swell." Sonic said. "But I need to know who you guys are first."
"Oh sorry, where are my manners. I'm Blade, and this is my associate Echoes."
"Nice to meet you." Echoes said. He then spotted Tails' gear. "Impressive work, is that custom made?"
"Hold on." Knuckles said. "Don't start acting like we're buddies. We've never even seen you and here you are acting like some sortof nice guy. What's your game?"
"Game? Are we playing some sort of geussing game?"
"You'll have to excuse my friend, he's not used to the customs and language use of this area. To answer your question, we have no hidden intentions, all we want to know is who we are potentialy racing against so that there is no bad blood out on the track. We find it better to have friendly races rather then overly competative ones."
"Sounds lagit."
"I'm still not convinced."

"Most likely later in the day." Shadow said starting after her. "We should avoid sitting with Blade and Echoes, especially now that Wave and the Babaylon Rogues are on to us."

Tails looked at the two hedgehogs suspitiosly, he slowly took a step behind sonic. They looked nice, but you never know with all of these prix racers around...

Rouge nodded, "got it, to bad we can't find a way to distract her...then she would be to buisy with that to notice that we were doing anything."

Wave smiled pulling her feet up on the bench, "how about we just focus on the race first" she smiled and picked up a fat grub off her tray. "Hey Jet, bet you aren't man enought to eat this whole"
"Oh yeah!" He quickly grabbed the fat wrigglie grub out of her hand and looked at it squirming in his fingers. "Ugh...this is so gross"
"Come on Jet buck up." Wave smiled and grabbed one herself "ready"
Jet nodded and swallowed hard
"Ok, One, two, three!" she lightly tossed it back.
Jet put it in his mouth and shook as it slid down his throat, he had to swallow again to keep it down.
"Those are disgusting!" he quickly looked around for something to wash it down with.
"Ha! You poor thing"

[blade the hedgehog]

echoes noticed Tails moving behind Sonic. "Perhaps we should not sir." He said to Blade. "They may have race planning to do and planned on doing so on the way to the cafe. We should give them the privacy to discuss their stratagy."
"Oh, of course!" Blade said looking suprised. "How rude of me. My apologies, I did not wish to interupt any stratagy meetings of any sort." He gave a polite bow. "Come on Echoes, we should get to the cafe so we can start planning to."
"Of course sir." The two hedgehogs ran off.
"What an odd bunch." Knuckles said looking a bit suprised at the sudden retreat of Blade and Echoes.
"Man they can run." Sonic said putting a hand to his forehead, sheilding his eyes from the sun.
"I still don't trust them."
"And that's your problem Knux."

Shadow and Rouge arrived at the cafe. "Icouldn't agree more." He said. "But I digress, it won't help the current situation."

Rouge sighed out loud, "to bad...i was really looking forward to making her feel like dirt. She huffed as she grabbed a plate and started to pile food onto it.

Tails's stomach growled loudly, "that wouldn't be a bad idea, can we please go and get something to eat now?"

Silver triumphantly pushed threw the doors into the caf. "Once again the hedgehog is victorious" he smiled and let Marine slide off his back

Wave was still giggling to herself as Jet was chugging a carton of milk when she spotted Rouge and Shadow out of the corner of her eye, she leaned across the table "oh yeah forgot to tell you guys last night but there is definantly something going on between Blade, Echoes, Shadow, and Rouge...i can just feel it"
The two guys turned around at the same time as she smacked her forehead, "dont everyone look at once...ugh..."
"...but uh Wave...they're not with them now.." Storm said as hd turned around
"But they were yesterday, ugh...you to are worst than talking to Blade"
