The Final Extreme Prix (Closed)

The alarm went off in rouges room as she fell out of the closet landing on the floor "ugh...morning already..."

[I was never gone]

Marine woke blaze up with a nice splash of water

Blaze got up and headed towards the closet she grabed the first shirt she found and the first jeans she walked into the bathroom to get changed

[blade the hedgehog]

Blade was already upand was tightening his boots and putting on his long jacket. He adjusted his shirt coller to be in proper position and then made sure his gloves were on just right. "Perfection." He said to himself smiling. He then looked over at Echoes who was still snoring in his bed. Blade went over to his suitcase and looked around for something, he then pulled out a small fire cracker. He lit the small explosive on the desk near Echoes' head and went over to the foot of Echoes' bed. The small explosive made a loud 'SNAP' and Echoes sprang out of bed ducking for cover behind another desk. "On your feet soldier we have a day to seize."
"That was uneccesary sir." Echoes said talking deep breaths. "We could have begun to seize the day an hour from nowand we would still be right on time."
"The early theif gets the prize."

Sonic was up and already running in place. Knuckles, who was used to being up early was like wise warming up for the day. "So, what teir are you in Knuckles?" Sonic asked.
"I won my race." Knuckles said. "How bout you?"
"Came in third. shadow was playing dirty by trying to take out Tails."
"I'll be sure to punch him in the face during today's race."

Shadow was sitting crossed legged in the middle of his room. The shades were closed keeping the lighting down to a low level. He was still asleep when a small noise came from his right wrist where a small watch was. He slowly opened his eyes and shut off the alarm feature on his watch. "Time for work." He said to himself.

Rouge pushed herself up off of the floor stretching and then lieing down on the bed. "Ugh, how do people get up this early!" she got up and smacked the alarm causing it to fall off the table.

Jet rolled over stretching and fluffing his feathers out, he hit the button on the alarm and scooted himself off the edge of the bed and stretched pulling the blinds up. He glanced over at Storm who was still snoring, he walked over and grabbed his shoulder. "Storm get up, time to go"
Storm rolled over and pulled the pillow over his head, Jet grabbed the albatrosses arm and tryed to push her out of the bed.
"Come on big guy, up and atom"
"Ugh...five more minutes..." he growned from under the pillow.
"Nope, come on man get up!"

Wave rolled over smacking the alarm a couple of times before it turned off, she rolled over with the blankets wrapped around he and slid out of bed. She sleepily walked to the bathroom and got changed.

Onyx got up stretching and looked at the clock, he turned it off and then glanced over at the wall, "Hmm..." he said to himself lightly. He got up and pushed the little dresser in the room overtop of where his tail had gotten stuck in the wall.

Silver quickly sat up at the sound of the dresser being pushed across the floor. He looked at the startled Peacock as he turned around "Oh, morning roomie" He smiled lightly.
"Oh, sorry I didn't here you come in last night. Hey, didn't I race against you yesterday?"
"Yeah." Silver smiled looking at the bird. "I'm Silver by the way"
"Oh, I'm Onyx" he smiled back, this was going to be a fun next couple of months

Phoenix looked over at the clock and whacked at it a couple of times before pulling the plug out of the wall, she rolled over and closed her eyes again **why do these racers get up so early?**

Tails looked over at his alarm and turned it off sitting up and leaning against the wall he reached over and tryed to pull on the curtin, only to fall off of the bed and hit the ground, "Ugh, to short" he got up and opened the window."

[blade the hedgehog]

Sonic opened the window and looked down. He was on the 3rd floor of the building. He grabbed his gear and took a running start before jumping right out the window. "WHOOO!" He yelled as he fell towards the ground while flipping around on his gear. He then leveled out and started to glide his way down towards the ground as Knuckles likewise jumped out the window doing a back flip before getting onto his gear and leveling out.
"Alright!" He yelled as he landed near Sonic.

Blade looked out the window at the comotion. "Pst, show offs." That was when Echoes rushed by him jumping out the window, his gear in hand. He did a couple of flips before mounting the gear. The engine at the back began to glow a green hue before the gear and Echoes vanished in a bright green flash. He reapeared on the ground and dismounted the gear.
"Gear works commander." Echoes yelled giving a thumbs up in Blade direction. Blade sighed.
"When in Rome." He said stepping back in his room to get a running start at his window. He ran full speed and jumped out spinning like a drill. He then mounted his gear and activated the boost and rode down the side of the building untill jumping from the wall and landing on the ground.

Shadow teleported to outside Rouge's room and knocked on the door. "This better not be your wake up call." He said.

Rouge turned around quickly at the sound of Shadows voice, she walked over and opened the door. "Well, i knew you would be up already, just give me a second to go and change and i'll be out in a second, she grabbed some clothes out of her bag and went to the bathroom. "So whats going on today?" She started the sink and used her hands to cup some water splashing it on her face.

Jet heard the yelling and ran to the window, he spotted the others showing off, he thought to himself for a minute and then walked into the bathroom cupping his hands in the sink and then running to Storms bed and dumping it on his head "Come on Storm we're going to miss all the fun."

Storm sat up abruptly and shook the water from his head "ok, i'm up..." He sighed a little while he stretched. He stood up and looked out the window behind Jet who had run over. "You want to go and show them how real men ride?"
"Yes, that would be nice, but go and get Wave, she'll want in on this"
"...you know...i think you like her for more than a team mate" Storm said making his way to the door
"WHAT! Why i awt ta!!" He closed the door behind him as something flew and hit the door
Storm chuckled to himself and made his way over to the girls dorm

Tails looked out the window and spitted Sonic and Knuckles, he quickly ran out of his room and down to the plaza "morning guys! I didn't know you were here Knuckles?! This is going to be great, the whole team back together" he smiled happily at them.

Onyx stretched his legs and opened the door. "Well i dont know about you but i've got plans for breakfast, so i'll see you around" He smiled at Silver who smiled back
"Yeah i should probably go and find the girls, see yah later"
Onyx walked down to the plaza while Silver walked over to ghe girls dorms, Silver knocked on the door that had the number Blaze said she would be in.

Phoenix quickly sat up, "oh! I have to get ready! I told Onyx I was going to meet him for breakfast!" She quickly rolled out of bed and scrounged around the floor under her bed for her shoes

Wave came out of the bathroom in her regular clothes and stretched again, she grabbed her gear under her arm and started for the door only to have someone knocking on the other side, she opened in gently and spotted Storm on the other side, she leaned against the door frame. "Let me guess, Jet wants to practice already?"
"...uh...no he just wants to go and show off, he told me to come and get you"
"Ok where are we going?" She closed the door and licked it behind her
"Plaza to deal with some overconfident creatures" he smiled at her as they made there way to the stairs.

Jet took a deep breath in before casting himself threw the window, spiralling a couple of times before hitting his gear and pulling up beside Sonic, "So hedgehog, you ready to get your butt kicked." He snickered to himself stepping off his board

[blade the hedgehog]

Sonic chuckled. "Fortunatly for you, I won't be racing you today." He said. "You're up against Shadow and that other black hedgehog."
"You might be up against me if we are put in the same bracket." Knuckles said. "But that most likely won't happen. it's more likely you'll be paired up with people from races that ouccered close to the same time slot as your did."

"Which means that I will be racing Shadow, Jet, and Wave." Blade said to Echoes who were standing a couple yards away. "There were more then 100 races yesterday, they can't put all 100 first place winners in the same bracket. Which means you'll still be up against Silver and Rouge as well as those other two."
"You mean Phionex and Onyx?" Echoes asked.
"Yeah, and then after this is the semi-finals were the winners of the next few races will compete again. Then the top eight will go to the finals."

"Your race will be first." Shadow said. "Then the upper bracket races will begin."

Jet snickered, "well i knew that, besides you probably couldn't handle me and Wave" he turned to look at Knuckles "and you..pft, nothing" he quickly mounted his board as he spotted Wave and Storm coming out of the building.
He pulled up beside them and lightly motioned for them to get out if there "i think i might have just made things interesting"

Wave rolled her eyes and quickly jumped onto her board and went after Jet.
Storm flicked his board down and fallowed the other two.

"What nerve!" Tails said watching the birds fly away "beat them today, will you Knuckles?"

Rouge smiled coming out of the bathroom in her racing clothes. "First huh? Well i'm ready for it." She smiled, "so you want to go and find something to eat?"

Phoenix grabbed her board as she hustled out of her room and made her way to the food court. She quickly spitted Onyx and waved to him, she say down across from him at a table "Thanks for meeting me here"
"No problem"

Silver was standing outside Blaze and Marines door

[blade the hedgehog]

Shadow shrugged. "Fine." he said.

"Believe me, when I get to the finals, I'm going pound that smirky smile of his two inches into his vomet colored face." Knuckles said clentching his fists.
"Don't get ahead of yourself Knuckles." Sonic said. "He's just scared to race against you."
