Joy watched as Inca tried to use the blow darts, and grinned at the careers failure. She longed to go and show off, but her mentor had ordered her to stay away from them. She shook her head. One or two tries couldn't hurt! Marching up to the blow darts she grabbed the gun, and a dart and loading the gun she blew into the tube, sending the dart flying into the dummies neck. Without looking at Inca again, she skipped off to try the axes again. She wasn't good with them and they may be the closest weapon, so she would have to learn.

Eric marched up to Grace and studied her "You aren't going to get far if you don't train" he scolded her after a while. He then walked off a bit, to try knot tying. He was willing to do everything to take down the careers.

Grace let out a small yelp he frightend her she then calmed down and walked next to eric "he was right after all" she thought trying to undo a knot

Scarlett eyed the other alliances slowly, wanting to know what she was up against. She felt a weight on her head, and curiously she looked up and met eyes with a large tarantula spider. She screeched, running with her arms wild. "GET IT OFF! AHH GET IT OFF!" she yelled, her hands repeatedly batting at her hair even though it was long gone. Peter was laughing wildly, his face red, and he walked over and picked up the rubber spider model that was very realistic. Scarlett was fuming bright red. "You... Little... Shhi-...." She trailed off as she realized some peacekeepers were staring at her. She took a step away and hurried to the trapping station. Peter followed, snickering. "You're dead," Scarlett added, but she smiled slightly.

Grace saw the girl scream and saw peter laughing she laughed a little herself "thats just like him.." she thought

Peter still had a smile on his face, getting the slight feeling he was being watched, but not the bad kind of way. He turned, eyes meeting with Grace, the other girl tribute for District 11. He gave her a smile and a wave, and beckoned her to come over. Scarlett turned from her pretty sad-looking trap as Peter started moving in the corner of her eye. She turned to see Grace and blinked, thoughts swirling, but she had a pokerface and did not say anything.

Inca shook her head, and smiled under her hair. Show off! she thought. She jogged over to the monkey bars section, and started swinging. It was the most fun she'd had in a ages.
