Kaala snarled. She shook the bars, wincing slightly as the hand she'd hurt shot with pain. She hid her pain immediately after the wince. 'Show no weakness' as her father had taught her.

Amelia slid back down, now basically being the only shifter not to be tested on. She liked this, maybe this nice, quiet attitude was working.

Matthew put his coffee down. "Allright." he said. He grabbed Serena by her ankles and dragged her back into the cage. He poked her a few more times, just to annoy people. Then he walked out the cage and locked it, picking up his coffee and sitting down on a chair, drinking his coffee.

Claire frowned when no one answered her or the other girl. "Why are we here?" She asked again, this time a bit louder. She paused for a moment, not moving at all, hoping that no one would hurt her because of her raising her voice.
Daniel wrote down a series of chemicals that could make something to make it so that the shifters couldn't talk. Hopefully it would work. He stood up with his notes and looked at the shifters, deciding to test it on Kaala first. She was the loudest. So far. "I'm going to try something." He said to the other scientists. "To shut them up." And started to pull out various chemicals to start the mixture.
