Elise sighed,still on the sidewalk.She did as she was always told,she looked both ways.She took a step forward,starting to cross the road.Almost to the other side.She flicked her ears at the sound of a large truck,a cross country delievery truck to be specific.She shook her head,continuing to cross,surely it would stop.But no,she never had any luck.Ever.She yelped loudly as the truck didnt stop,and one of the huge wheels went right over her large body.Now she lay there,motionless.Unconious to be exact.

Voltaire shook his head. He knew something was wrong.... This time it was Elise. What had happened to her? He growled and whirled around, loping towards where he last saw her- the park. He tried to contact her through his thoughts, Elise? Elise?, but got no answer. Now he knew something was wrong. He could tell she was still in wolf form- could feel the connection between his thoughts and her's- but she wouldn't answer.
