Toby glanced at Jake then disappeared like the cheshire cat with only his eyes vanishing last.

"Wait--he wants to talk to Chris, let him." Aria caught Jake's arm, pulling him back as she herself seemed torn between a decision.

Chris stopped in his tracks and spun aound to meet with Toby's eyes. ''You know, I don't have a clue what your problem is, but what I do know IS THAT YOU ARE JELOUS! That's all you are.'' Chris's angry eyes change to neutral. ''You are nothing but a sore loser.'' He turned away again and kept walking. ''Thanks Aria, Thanks for the big Joke.'' He sighed under his breath before vanishing into the trees.

"Guess you found out the hard way like me too," Toby didn't seem fazed at all for being called jealous. "I know I'm jealous, so what? Doesn't it hurt to know that you've been lied to by someone you love? Hell, she even lied to you about being a hyrbid."

Jacob glanced from Aria to the shadows of the forest where Chris and Toby were somewhere "What? What are you talking about?!"

"Let them go...they..." She shook her head, breaking eye contact but blushing again. "They're...trying to fix the tension between them, I guess. I would let them be..."

Chris transformed into his wolf form again and ran through the forest as fast as he could, tears were rolling down his cheeks. He wanted to get away from it all, he even wanted to die on the spot but he couldn't do that. He came to the cliff's edge--Nowhere else to go. He let out a mournful cry to the heavens and tried to clear his tears with his clawed paws.

"But what where they talking about? Chris is your boyfriend isn't he?" Jacob was in a more serious confusion now "The way he was talking there was llike you were cheating on him"

"You're loss--I was going to tell you the truth for once, but I can see you're pathetic!" Toby snarled after Chris, clenching his fists in anger.

Aria was quiet. "It did look like that from a distance, didn't it?" She bit her lip again then she leaned closer to Jake, her eyes serious. "Do you want to know the truth, though?"

"What truth?" Jacob hated being confused like this but since it was Aria he didn't mind that much.

Chris's tears fell over the side of the cliff as he wondered should he go down like the dead dog he was, or should he give life another chance. His heart was already shattered like a broken glass, it was like walking on egg shells now for him. He just didn't know where to go, he was lost in this crazy world.
