Camico Island - People on Island Rp - Accepting

Oh No!

After searching through the web for a holiday, you come across something amazing. It catches your eye immediantly, and it didn't cost much, as the island was small, it had no houses or hotels, nothing. It is called the 'Camico Island'. It is a totally new island to the world. It says that about 2000 years ago it had been sunk by the ocean, but now it came back up. It is a volcano island, but they say the volcano is not active anymore. So you decide to take a visit to the island for a week.

You arive. It is wonderful, it is so natural, and you are the first people to visit it. It is well over 40 degrees, and the sand is so hot that it burns your feet. It is beautiful. There is the ocean behind you, surrounding the island. There is also sand here, and on the other side of the island, too. Infront of you, there is a jungle, full of bugs, some birds and dangerous reptiles. But it was shady, and you can make a shelter in it, and find food. Palm trees are infront of the jungle. You decide you like it very much here.

A week later... It is so hot you fall asleep immediantly in the night, and wake up late in the day. Nothing suspicius until today. You and a couple of other people are on the other side of Camico, sleeping on the couple of blankets you had with you. You wake up. The ferries were supposed to come back for you at 3pm. You look at your watch on your wrist, the only electronic item here that works. 4pm. You start panicking. The other people are still asleep. You desperatly wake them up. They all start panicking with you. But you smell the air. It smells of ash. You look up at the top of the volcano, the only part of it you can see. You gasp. Lava. Probably that part of the island was eaten up by lava. Now there's no hope of rescue. Ferries can't go onto the other side of the island, where you are. And you can't go onto the part where they can, as lava is there. You have to survive on this island.

A bit more info

* In the night, zombies come out, but not every night. You don't know about that yet.
* There is a couple of wolves on the island, and you might be able to tame them, although it will be hard, and don't let them bite you. Or you will become a wolf, or a were wolf, depending how hard. (Light = Wolf, Hard = Were Wolf) But you will be yourself always, even if they bite you.
* You can make things, this is really the point.
* There is some yellow horse ghosts that live underground in the jungle, but you must work on your trust with them to make them let you ride on them, and help you.

Avril sighed. She was looking at the volcano dribbling with hot, hungry, greedy lava. How was she and the others going to survive on half of a small island? They still had most of the jungle, and bit of sand and the sea, but it was going to be hard. She face palmed herself and turned away from the dangerous volcano. She looked out at the sea, a light, cooling-down wind blowing her black, light dress to all sides. Avril sighed again and once the wind stopped, she took a couple of steps towards the sea, and sat down infront of it. Tiny waves were lapping at her feet. Then it struck her. How were they going to drink? They can't simply drink the ocean water. She looked around. She saw her brother, Shane, looking up at the palm tree, full of coconuts. They'd have to do with coconut milk for now. Then she turned back to the sea. Even in this emergancy, right now, the sea was calm, and it started to slowly calm down her, too.

Shane was looking up at the palm tree, which wasn't as tall as the others, but still it was big. As the wind passed, it started to shiver. Once of the coconuts started to shiver too, and he got some hope. But as the wind stopped, it didn't fall. "Argh!" He shouted, annoyed. The argh was followed by a kick for the tree. Then he looked up hopefully again. Useless. This time the coconut didn't even move. He'd have to climb up there to get it. He put his hands against the palm, and then held it firm. It hurt as the tiny prickles prickled the palms of his hands. He took a deap breath. He took his hands away, and put them back higher up the tree, and made his legs jump and hold onto the tree, which was hard. Shane rapidly put one hand higher, and once he got the grip, he put the other one higher, too. Now the harder part, which was going to come alot. The legs.

Kaala sat in the tree, swinging her legs from the branch. The breeze ruffled her hair slightly. She watched the lava running from the volcano about ten foot in front of the tree she was in. The tree had bright orange blossoms- probably a Royal Poinciana which is a tree native to tropical islands such as Madagascar. She actually enjoyed being trapped on this island- it was solitary and she didn't run into the others much. Plus, due to an interest as a child, she was able to identify trees, plants and flowers to see if they were safe to eat. She hardly ever hunted and was now living off of a Camu Camu shrub that she'd found. She loved the taste of the berries it produced.

Shane winced as he had to grab the prickles and lift himself up. Once he done it, he started a panting, and when he looked up and saw how much was left, he thought he was going to fall. He took another deap breath, attempting to relax. It worked a tiny bit of magic, but not much. He knew, so nothing would make him very relaxed. He released his hand and put it higher up, then did the same with the other hand, and then grabbed the prickles as hard as he could, and slowly lifted his body up. He took a deap breath, and did the hand thing again, but quicker. He grabbed the prickles more firmly, and lifted himself up with, although not much, a bit more ease. he started doing it more quicker and a bit more easier until he got to the top. He looked down at Avril, and chuckled restlessly. He looked the other way, and saw Kaala. He was panting, not only because it was a hard task climbing, but because he was so happy he got to the top. Then he looked at his mission; coconuts. He slowly got up from crouching into a knealing postition, and grabbed hold of the loosest coconut. he knew this wasn't going to be easy, either, but it was better than climbing up. He pulled it towards himself, and after a moment, it let go of the tree. Shane nearly fell, but to his luck, he held his legs tight around the tree. He threw the coconut down. Then he grabbed some leaves, thinking they might need them later. He threw them down too.

Kaala watched the boy, curious. There were much easier food choices on the ground but she supposed it was the safest option to get the coconuts. The berries of the tropics could be dangerous if you couldn't identify them. She watched as he climbed the tree, palm trees were hard to climb and that tree was tall. She sat back and put her back against the trunk of the tree. She picked off one of the blossoms and looked down at it. There was no surprise that it was one of the ten most beautiful blossoming trees in the world- the orange and red blossoms were extremely pretty.
