Nikki sat on her porch, watching the sun set over the horizon. It was the middle of summer...a completely, utterly boring summer. Nothing had happened at all! That 'summer romance' Nikki'd been hoping for had never come. She'd been on Facebook, seeing all the pictures her friends had posted of them and their boyfriends. Of course, all of them were in relationships. It was only Nikki that was all alone. Everyone she knew was in a perfect whirlwind romance, hanging out all day long and then kissing goodnight...things Nikki could only dream of. Sure, maybe summer wasn't over yet, but if it hadn't come yet, when would it. As she watched the sun dip low behind the clouds, she let out a small sigh, wishing there was someone here to share this with her.

Marie saat on the marlbe fountain in the park, lightly skimming her fingers on the surface of the fountain water in amazment. Marie didn't know why, but for some reason, water on Earth fascinated her. There wasn't water like this in Heavan...she was one of the angels here that were simply fascinated by Earth. The sights, the sounds, the smells, even the people were of interest to everyone. Still, she was a tiny bit homesick. All the other angels were out expeirencing 'better things' like nightclubs and bars and everything else Earth had to offer. And here Marie sat, alone on a fountain in the middle of a deserted park as the sun was just dipping below the wispy clouds. She sighed, making small ripples appear in the water. Being alone was something Marie didn't like.

Jenn sat in the very corner of the dark alleyway, waiting for the sun to set completely. No matter how open Cameron was to this whole 'Earth exploration' thing, she of course stayed closed to it. Being on Earth just wasn't her thing...especially the light. She hated the way the sun shone, and when it got her her eyes she felt as if she were burning at stake. So, here she sat. Behind a dumpster. In a deserted alley. Alone. She only came out at night, since she couldn't stand the light. So, everyday for the past week that the demons arrived here, she waited alone in the corner of this same alley, just waiting for the sun to set so she could finally breath. She hated the way Cam just left her here to 'Go out and have an adventure!' as he put it. Well, too bad she didn't care.

Cam walked aimlessly through the town, yawning as he walked. He was getting tired...he'd had a busy day. Trying to see as many sights as he could in only a short amount of time made him dead tired. But sadly still, he had no place to sleep besides that stupid alleyway. He thought once or twice about maybe asking to stay with a human or something...but he wasn't exactly sure if that was a good idea or not. It seemed tempting...nice warm bed, cool air conditioning, decent food that you didn't have to pay for...he pondered this again. But since he'd been here, there had been no humans that he'd spoken to, not one. And not many of their kind would just randomly take a stranger into their home and provide them food and such. Humans could be such fools sometimes...

With the hood of her black jacket loosely pulled over her head, Sierra walked along the cracked sidewalk. She had hated just about everything about her trip to earth so far. The air was too musty, the cities were too loud, and the people could be considered just about anything other than polite. Sure, earth probably had it's perks, she was just having a hard time finding them. With a soft sigh, she sat down on a bench, her soft blue eyes following the movement of cars as they rushed pass her. She wondered why they all seemed to be in such a rush. In her eyes, it seemed as if no one here stopped what they were doing to actually look around them and take in their surroundings. Everything about this place was just too confusing.

Chase walked along the side of the road, his hands stuffed into the pockets of his dark-colored jacket. He let out a content-sounding sigh as he ran a hand through his black hair, brushing it away from his eyes. His trip here had had it's ups and downs. He had learned some very interesting things, the only bad thing was finding a place to sleep. For the past couple nights he had been sleeping on a park bench, which was fine since it was still relatively warm, but with the sounds of cars racing down the road, it was difficult to fall alsleep. He knew if he didn't want to sleep outside anymore, he'd have to find a way to make some money so he could rent an apartment or hotel room for a couple of nights.

Evangeline skipped along the sidewalk, glancing around her shoulder every now and then to check on Nicholas. Since he was new, she volunteered to give him a tour around town, starting with their neighborhood. She started pointing out different houses, telling him a bit about its inhabitants as she did so. "So, Nicholas...where did you say you were from again?" she asked, looking back at him. "Um, I live in," Nicholas started, not really sure what to say. How was he supposed to answer that? They weren't taught that before they left for Earth. He looked around, luckily, there was a car parked nearby with a sticker saying 'Sweet Home Alabama!' on the bumper. "Er, I'm from Alabama, yeah, Alabama." he nodded, grinning. "Alabama? That's nice." she smiled and glanced at her watch. "Uh-oh, um, we have to go back...I promised mom I'd help her with something..." she said, "But you could go around for a while if you want." Nicholas nodded, "I think I'll go around first to, you know, familiarize myself." he smiled, Evangeline nodded and, with a small wave, bolted off towards the Boarding House.

Nicholas sighed and looked around wondering where he should go next, He shrugged, walking around and just admiring the view. Earth was pretty cool so far, and the humans were interesting. Especially Evangeline who taught him all sorts of things and showed him cool Earth stuff. "Better go back..." he murmured, turning around, only to find himself lost, alone, and incredibly bored. "Uh-oh..." he gulped, trying to remember just which road he came from. "Screw this..." he scowled, taking the road on the right. He thought of asking for directions but it was getting pretty late and there wasn't anyone out. As he walked, he came across a house and saw a girl sitting alone on the porch. "Maybe she knows where the boarding house is..." he muttered, walking towards the house. He leaned a little on the fence and cleared his throat to catch her attention, "Um, do you know where the Wright's Boarding House is?" he asked, "I'm sorta new here and I'm kinda, err, lost."

Evangeline ran inside the Boarding House and smiled when she saw her mother standing behind the front desk. "Hi mom!" she grinned, hugging her tight. "Good afternoon to you too." Mrs. Wright laughed, hugging her back. "Where's Nicholas?" she asked, pulling a wad of fliers from a drawer. "Oh, he stayed behind for a bit...he should be back soon." Evangeline said, taking the fliers from her mother. She was supposed to put them up to attract more boarders since they still had a few unoccupied rooms. After grabbing the glue and staple gun and saying goodbye, she ran out the door and started stapling the fliers on posts and gluing it on walls.

Demeteri walked towards the house he and his brother Zhenson had been busy all day with different thing, going to the park and people watching, they both enjoyed that, people had starred at them most of the day, was it because they both looked identical? but the difference was Demeter had a red unbottoned dress shirt, black undershirt, and well fadded dark grey jeans, they both looked alike yes, but they had different taste in everything.

Zhenson walked not far behind his brother, his arms behind his head, he couldn't wait to get home, there was nothing to do, nothing at all, what was with his brother? what was with him liking guys? well anywhay his brother was one weird person, but many people had said Zhenson was weird to, but yet, they were both not like many of the people who had said such things, they were not humans, no sir-re, he could see the sunset as he walked, he noticed no longer that his brother was ahead of him turning around he noticed Demeteri looking up at the sunste, he grabbed his brother by the arm, and pushed him to keep on walking.

Nikki jumped out of her little fantasy world as a voice adressed her. She looked up and saw a guy. A very attractive guy, at that. What had he said...something about being new. No wonder she'd never seen him around before. Her heart pounded in her chest...what else had he said? Something about a Boarding House..."Yes!" she answered immediatly, not thinking. Then, she realized she had no clue where it was..."I mean...I meant to say no." she blushed deeply at her mistake. Wow...how stupid was she, anyways? She cleared her throat and quickly changed the subject, trying to cover up her embarrising blunder. "I'm Nicole...er, well Nikki. You said you were new here, right?" she smiled at him in an innocent way. "Where are you from?"

Marie sighed as the sun was sinking faster, already halfway gone for the night. She had nothing to look forward to besides looking for a place to crash for the night. She crossed her legs impatiently and watched as a couple walked by, hand and hand. She sighed and stared down at the ground as they passed her, cooing sweet things to each other. She looked up and watched them walk away, her heart skipping a beat and her face coloring in jealousy. She wished she had someone like that girl did...someone who would love her like that. But, here on Earth was the same as it was in Heavan. She wasn't pretty enough to be noticed in Heavan, and even here she still slipped under everyone's radar. This made her think she was ugly (even though everyone did tell her who gorgeous she was...) She looked around at some of the boys who were still in the park, some sitting on benches, some walking down the path, some "texting" or playing "football", whatever those things were. She just wished she had to courage to talk to them...or even better, if they had the courage to talk to her.
