Rose put her good hand to his face. "One, because I told you not to and two, because I told you not to." She smiles painfully.

Ethan tries to calm down, taking in large gulps of air. "I know your injured, I could smell it the second I stepped foot into this room." He whispered, and shook his head. He hit the wall, and then stepped outside. An angry smile on his face. "Sorry about that, I'll come back when I have better self control." He said, running back to his room.

Rose shakes her head slightly and then gets to work cleaning her arm. She tears off a piece of her shirt and ties it around the tp of her arm. The wound was deep and blood was begining to drip to the floor. She sighed painfully and gave up on it, waiting for Ethan to return

Ethan came back later, his eyes returned to normal, his emotionless mask still stayed however. "You feeling...okay?" He asked softly, entering the room.

Rose laughs painfully. "Okay is not the right word for what I am feeling." She answered, glancing at her arm, which had created a small pool of blood on her floor. Light headed, dizzy, woozy those were good words for what she was feeling.

"I should have gotten here sooner...but there was...nevermind." Ethan bent down, looking at the wound. "This is going to be really weird, but it should help some." Ethan warned her, and he picked up her arm, licking it slowly. His kind could heal wounds with just a small bit of saliva, gross, but it seemed to come in handy.

Rose's eyes widen slightly and then she remebers what he did with her hands. She nods, her head feeling limp. She closed her eyes and sighed, woozily.

Finally done, he wiped it off gently, the skin closed. "There you go." He said, smiling slightly. He was afraid to leave her, afraid the man might come back, but he couldn't just stay in here. Ethan picked Rose up gently, laying her on the bed, and pulling the coovers over her. "I'll stay up, no one will hurt you." He whispered, kissing her on the forehead as he left the room. Walking down the hall, he slipped into his room, watching the wall.

Rose smiled and nodded. She yawned and fell asleep, her dreams filled with Ethan.

Ethan sat there, feeling pain start in his back. He held his arm, knowing full well what was happening, but refusing for it to be so. The black mark on his elbow extended, spreading a strange pattern down his arm. He grited his teeth, and stared at the wall. It burned his skin as it moved, leaving scars in it's wake. This was something that no one knew about, this thing Ethan took as his own punishment for living. As a fallen angel, this was his pain.
