Cody rolled his eyes and just watched as she took his body for a tour of the island and up a tree. Well, I've been looking for a place to stay, and I thought your place was abandoned, but that's obviously not the case...

So you're a squatter then? She mused. That happened now and then with people, but they usually ran away scared quickly. Suddenly, she had an idea, so Claudia let out an excited squeal and climbed back down, running over to where she knew a large river ran through the woods. I haven't been this far in ages! She told Cody happily, taking off his shoes and socks and dipping her feet into the water, shivering firmly at the cold.

Cody smiled gently, amused by the girls excitement. How long have you... You know... Been dead? He asked gently as he to, shivered from the cold. He looked down at his feet and began to wonder what the girl looked like.

She shrugged, going quiet for a moment and watching the water. I don't know. It's hard to keep track of time... She told him finally, wading deeper into the water.

Do your parents live with you in the mansion? Cody asked softly, feeling bad for the poor girl. She was obviously still here on earth for a reason, maybe he could be the one to help her let go.

No, Claudia said simply, shrugging and going waist-deep into the water. It was amazing how strong the current was. But I'm not lonely; I have Julius to keep me company!

Ava looked confused, although she was glad to hear he was nervous too, although his reasons for it were quite different. She was nervous due to it being such a new experience, and being afraid of messing up. But Luke... She smiled, reaching over to take his free hand. "I'm marrying you because I love you, and I don't want to be with anyone else, or anywhere else, as long as I am by your side," she told him honestly, lifting his hand to kiss it and hoping her words reassured him somewhat.

My butler, she told him happily, grinning and dunking under the water. The river current suddenly swept them down a few feet as she yelped in surprise, suddenly finding water in her lungs. She gasped and lunged out of the river, choking and sputtering on the shore in shock.
