James shook his head and shifted back into his human form. He threw the doors open to the bar and marched in, his face a scowl. He slammed his money on the counter and ordered a round.
After about five rounds, James was almost passed out on the counter. He mumbled curses under his breath and slowly stood up, but fell to the ground. His eyes began to close when he heard a familiar voice. It was kind, sweet, but had a hint of worry. "B-Bwe?" He muttered, bending his head to see a blurred girl in all white. She knelt down next to James and smiled kindly. "oh honey..." She whispered, placing a hand gently on his cheek.
James put his hand over hers, a smile coming to his face at the warmth of the dainty hand. He looked to the girls face and squinted his eyes. "Star?..." He whispered.
"Come on Jamie." She giggled gently and helped him slowly to his feet and wrapped her arm around his waist and led him outside and slowly to her new house, which she had bought only moments ago.
