((Sleep well. Thanks for RPing!))
Selena looked surprised, blushing a bit. "It's just a meal," she excused her cooking, feeling awkward about getting a compliment, and soon fishing her food as well. She got up to put the leftovers in the fridge. "There's more in the fridge for later if ya get hungry and I ain't around ta cook for ya," she told him as she began washing dishes. She gave a gentle sigh as she sat back down at the table to sip her wine.
"Ya know, ya ain't a bad guy," Selena said conversationally. "Sorry fer givin' ya dat lecture earlier on behavin'; I worry 'bout the folks here and feel that someone has ta say it ta every newcomer." She shrugged. "But it's probably too harsh, I'll admit," she said as she finished her wine and poured herself another glass while topping off his. She wasn't a heavy drinker, never one to enjoy being drunk or hungover, but she did enjoy a glass or two now and then. She turned her gaze towards the window. "Rain's pretty," she murmured.

"Oh, well," Avalri smiled. "Like, what do you like to do? Do you have someone special? Do you have a job?" She paused. "I think Atu mentioned something about being a postman?" She tilted her head, not sure if she was remembering correctly, before starting to eat her food curiously. "This is great!" She said happily, beaming at Ren. "You're a great cook!"
