Lira walked down through a market place in the middle of Republic City, with her armadillo wolf padding along at her heels. The white creature with his smooth, silver shell was cautious and even vicious towards some of the merchants, who eyed the strange wolf with curiosity. Lira rustled his ears to keep him calm. "Come on, we'll take a short-cut." she murmured, before taking a sharp turn into an alleyway. In her midst, however, was a figure - a girl, it seemed. From what Lira could see, her hair was dark, but her eyes were bright. She also happened to have a companion; a fire ferret. Tundra snarled openly, revealing sharp, white teeth. "Hush," Lira whispered, keeping a hand near the armadillo wolf.

Akira turned around at the sound of the girl's voice, Sanyu, who was perched on her shoulder, sniffing out the stranger. The fire-ferret hopped onto the ground and scurried towards the girl, looking up at her. Sanyu backed away from the armadillo-wolf, a little cautious of the larger animal. Akira, curious, headed up to the girl, who was a dark-haired girl with blue eyes, dressed in waterbender clothes. "Hi there," Akira said in a friendly manner to the girl. She seemed like no threat, unlike most of the people lurking around the alleys these times in the city.

"What do I stand for? I just don't know anymore."

I lay in the meadow right behind my house, my yellow eyes watching the clouds deliberately pass by. The wind blew softly, gently swaying the tall grass and my faded brown hair. "Sora?" I sat up as I heard my mother's voice call for me. I looked over at her small figure which was standing just outside our home. She waved at me, telling me to come to her. I sighed and stood up, sauntering through the tall grass. "Sora, I need you to go to the market and get some things for me." I sighed in response. "Okay," I muttered unenthusiastically. My mother ignored my attitude. "I already put the list in your Dragon Hawk's harness." I simply nodded and muttered another 'Okay.' I walked around to the side of our home where the cages of my pets were. I unlatched Kaji's cage first. He immediately darted out of the cage, soaring up into the sky and spreading his vibrant wings before diving back down to Earth, gently landing on my shoulder pad. I moved on to the larger cage, quickly unlatching it. My Armadillo Tiger looked up out of curiousity. She gracefully strode out of the cage to stand by my side, nuzzling my hand with her head. I grabbed a hold of her harness and hoisted myself up onto her back. "Alright Kagerou, time to go to the market. Kaji, be my eye in the sky." Kaji cawed in reply before shooting up into the sky. Kagerou roared before breaking into a sprint. I held on tightly and let her lead the way.

Once we arrived at the market, I dismounted off of Kagerou. "Alrite, you stay here. I'll be right back. If there's any trouble, run." She nuzzled my hand in protest. "I'm fine. I'll have Kaji come find you. I can fend for myself." The huge tiger whinned before lying down in defeat. I stroked her a few times before turning around and walking into the market. "Kaji!" On que, the Dragon Hawk soared down from the sky, landing on my shoulder. I slipped the rolled up list out of his messanger harness and quickly looked over the list. I went to each stand, getting what was needed.

Kirana Vestavi

Kirana walked to the market, not looking at anyone she passed, and saying nothing. She wondered if she should have brought Lira instead of leaving her, but she stood by her decision. She would take the polar leopard for a ride later, when the streets were less crowded and she would feel less staring eyes.
She thought about the times when she was younger where she could barely go a few hours without riding the polar leopard. But that was back when she had just gotten Lira, and Kiana had only been 8, possibly 9. But now she only took Lira out for a ride every day, or sometimes every other day.
But she pulled herself out of her thoughts, and just walked. She saw a boy ride past of what seemed to be a armadillo tiger when she was closer to the market. But paid no real mind to it and kept walking.
When she arrived at the market she went to the market stall that sold the noodles she was looking for, and purchased a package of them from the vender, only making a little small talk with her.

Lira sighed quietly in relief. The girl seemed friendly enough, which was a relief. She even said hello, so Lira decided to respond brightly."Hey," she grinned, walking into the light. She wasc now perfectly clear, as was Tundra, who had snarled at the fire ferret, and probably would have slashed at the poor thing had Lira not pulled him away with her."I'm Lira, and he's Tundra-who might you be?"

Akira smiled back. This girl seemed nice. "I'm Akira," she replied. She looked at the fire-ferret, who had jumped back onto her shoulder. "That's Sanyu," she added, half-laughing at the frightened ferret.

"My name would be Kenna. I don't really have a last name though, weird huh? Well, there is a story about that but that is another topic."

"It's Kenna, just Kenna. Nothing else. It means "born of fire"."

"I'm a girl, why do you ask?"

"I'm thirteen. Not too old but hey, I'm strong for my age."

"Well, that's a tricky question. I'm not from the fire nation but that is my ethnicity."

"I'm a proud firebender! Although I don't know that much yet..."

xXx Like many fire benders Kenna has very vibrant golden amber eyes.

Hair color
Kenna has very thick brown hair, long and fluffy. It is wavy and has lots of body, making it rather hard to manage. Some may describe her hair as frizzy but that's only on really bad hair days, usually it's just very wavy.

Kenna is just about five and a half feet.

Kenna weighs about 120 pounds, pretty average for her height.

Personality
Determined. Kenna doesn't give up, she has a drive to keep going. This can be both an advantage and a disadvantage as it helps in her fights, keeps her on her feet instead of giving up and allowing herself to loose but sometimes it can get to the point where she is practically an inflexible stone that won't move on until said task is completed. So she's determined and ambitious to complete her goals.
Impatient. Patience is a virtue, a virtue that Kenna does not possess. She is always rearing to go, not wanting to wait even if it is mandatory. She will often jump to conclusions before thinking them out and start taking on tasks she isn't ready for.
Instinctive. To Kenna her instincts and her impulses speak louder then words, causing her to make rash decisions and turn on others simply because she didn't take the time to make sure it is right. She Jealousy. Kenna tends to be rather jealous of others accomplishments and achievements, envying them and shunning them for it. It is rather unconscious but she tends to be rather rude to those who achieve more then her.
Spiteful. Kenna is the type that when you wrong her she finds it her god given duty to treat you with no more respect then you treat her. She'll show you no more respect but she also won't show you any less respect then you're giving her. So basically she believes in 'what goes around comes around' and it's her job to make sure that happens.
True to her roots. Kenna, although growing up around the earth kingdom will always stay true to her roots of the fire nation. She has always considered that her home although she has never actually been there.
Loyal. Kenna is a very loyal individual, she won't betray those close to her at all costs. This is something many admire about her, although it can be both a positive and a negative.
