Surprised to see that Stefan was home he turned and smiled. Soon the smile turned to a frown after what his brother had said. "Only the ones we use right? Not the ones that aren't even open, right?"

Lexi nodded and, quick as lightning, darted after Damon toward the boarding house. When they were safely inside Lexi leaned against the door. The vervain in her system had become a dull burn that was almost tolerable in her veins. When Damon offered her blood Lexi nodded a reply "yeah, thanks." She said crossing the room to join him. "A lot has change since I've last seen you two." She observed almost awkwardly. She'd never once expected Damon to become someone almost decent. She nodded a greeting to Stefan who seemed to be in a brooding mood as always.

Stefan nodded " the ones that aren't open, I can't smell." he said and started away when he stopped " why do you smell like a mutt?" he asked and peered at them both. They had been in a tango with a wolf hadn't they? Just like Damon, push his nose into a wolfs business.

"A werewolf decided to attack Damon so I went and fetched him." Lexi shrugged "The mutt thinks she's a vampire hunter and got us pretty good with vervain laced stakes.." She explained crossing her arms wondering why Stefan was acting so much different than she'd last seen him. She crossed the room retrieving a blood bag and piercing it with a straw like a sort of juice box. Her way of drinking blood, although rather childish, was adequate enough from masking the smell.

Taking slow sips of the blood that was in his glass he collected the open blood bags that he already used and took them outside to the fire pit that he usually had bonfires at. After throwing them in the pit he lit a fire and left it unattended as he went inside to Stefan and Lexi. "So what do we do about Katherine? She tried to kill me today if you guys didn't already notice..." He took another sip of the blood before continuing. "And what about this werewolf vampire hunter lady. I don't know about you guys, but she could turn out to be a real threat..." His hand was still burned from the vervain that was lingering on it where he couldn't see. However, it still was severely painful on high levels.

Elena finished her shower and stepped out. She dried and then walked over to her dresser, changing into pjs and climbing onto her bed. The body. The smell. Not being able to get rid of the image in her mind, she thought that tea might help soothe her. With a sigh she stood up and walked down the stairs to make some.

Kaala stepped into her hotel room and collapsed on the bed with a sigh. She lay there for a few moments before getting back up and changing into her full huntress outfit. She pulled on a belt that was covered in small stakes, all laced with vervain like her other weapons. She pulled on a pair of black gloves and punched her hand into the wall, causing tiny toothpick sized wooden spikes to appear. She relaxed her hand and the spikes sunk away again.

Once she had finished, she walked out of the door, hiding the weapons with a long coat, her bright red hair tied back into a pony tail. She began in the direction of the boarding house.

Finally, Elena had gotten a bit worried, not having heard from Stefan OR Damon, so she threw on some clothes and grabbed her coat. It was late, and she wrapped her coat around her tightly to keep the cold chill away. Leaving her house she walked down the street and up to the boarding house. With a sigh she knocked three times.

She nodded hugging him again and then looking at his eyes. They were gorgeous she thought, almost too beautiful to withstand. Without knowing what she was doing she kissed Tyler right on his lips long enough to make her have a smile on her face. "I'm good now..."

Tyler was shocked by the sudden kiss. He smiled widely, though, and whispered, "Good." before kissing her again.
