Victoria's eyes opened. She found herself in an abandoned warehouse. -Oh yea...- She frowned, remembering that everything was gone...and there was nothing left. Sighing, she stood up, her hands went to the hilts of her daggers. She scowled at the window and silently walked over to it. Everything was silent...everything was still. Hm...that's unusual...She raised an eyebrow and walked to her bag, slinging it around her shoulder. She didn't have much...but she got by. It was time to leave...the sun was up, and she decided to pack up and go, she had been here too long anyway. Silently and swiftly, she made her way out of the abandoned building and down the road, sticking to the shadows. Her eyes were peeled for any movement and her ears for any sound. She kept her hands at her sides, on her daggers, and continued moving through the oddly silent streets. A ray of sunlight hit her eyes, causing her eyes to look lighter than they ever have before almost white, but she couldn't see herself, so she wouldn't know that. She shielded her eyes to see what it was that was blinding her. She frowned when she realized that it was just a broken piece of mirror on the ground. She growled and continued on, she couldn't stay out here too long.
Damon woke his sister up. His eyes were nervous. The only thing he cared about was protecting Zoey and making sure they both came out of this alive. When she was up, he handed her some meat that he had been able to scrape off the rat that he had killed. She sighed when he handed it to her and he shrugged, "It was all I could kill.." He frowned..."There isn't much wildlife..." He said, feeling angry at the universe..did this really have to happen to THEM? Now? He sighed...of course it did...that's just how things worked. Even if he and his sister wouldn't have been alive right now, that wouldn't have changed anything...this would still be happening.
Zoey frowned at her brother, she was tired of rat. She sighed though, and nibbled on it. It was disgusting...it tasted like dog food...which she had been unfortunate to have to eat once. She finished the meat and stood up, "When can we leave this place Damon?" She asked, looking around the small room they were in. They had found a half intact house, and had stayed. She frowned, looking at the burn marks on the ground...she wondered if the family who lived her got away...They had had a baby...the room next to this one was covered in clouds and had a small crib. She frowned and shut her eyes, there was no way that the baby survived. The world was so cruel. Her hands clenched into fists and she pushed the thought away, turning back to her brother.
