I chuckled slightly. Tears came to my eyes. I wasn't sure why, but I didn't feel super sad. I looked up and looked at the stars, somehow the tears not spilling. My eyes were bright.

Looking over at Anya, she noticed the tears that blotched her face. "What's wrong?" Evaira asked in a quiet voice.

[The 10th Doctor]

A young woman walked over to Anya and handed her a rose. "From the king." She said.

[faye.]

I laughed and took it. "He's so sweet." I said, almost whispered. I shook my head at Evaira. "It's just.....so much stuff to take in and register." I looked back up at the stars, my face bright and smiling a bit.

The woman walked away.

Evaira nodded with understanding, "I know exactly how you feel." Her mind wandered to when her family had died, it was so sad- so hard. A drop escaped her eye, but it wasn't visible underneath the darkness of the night. She had almost died, herself, from starvation and dehydration. Thank god it was all over.
