Evaira and Checkers slept soundly in their rented room, but were woken up by a maid that had brought their soup. Evaira sat up, rubbing the fuzziness from her eyes. "Er- thank you," she said while taking the warm dish from the maid.
The maid bowed her head slightly, and was quickly out of the small room.Checkers started lapping up the broth, while Evaira took her share of potatoes and other veggies.

I pointed towards the door.

"Right. Sorry. Thanks!" Anya said. She held out her arm with a pointed finger for Creek to come with her. He hopped on and she headed out. She took a deep breath when she was back in town. Fresh air! She realized she would still need to pick more flowers; she would have to wait til tomorrow. She climbed her birch tree and curled up with Creek.

Anya couldn't sleep. She kept tossing and turning, but just could not. She sighed and saw a full-ish moon shining bright, illuminating the town. She lifted a sleeping Creek into her pouch so he could stay asleep. She climbed down silently. She was about to rent a horse when she decided against it, remembering this morning. She crept past the guards taking the night shift at the gate and went off into the forest, the moon lighting her way. she kept going deeper, past the cliff. When she was at the edge, she saw a flash of white. She stood still, unsheathing her dagger quickly. But it was only a beautiful doe, coming to greet her. Anya reached out a hand and stroked the doe's nose.
