Evaira finished her delicious muffin and look at her lizard. Checkers chirped at her and hid beneath her sleeve, indicating he was tired. "Well, I think we have enough money for a room tonight. Wouldyou like to save our money or get a room?" she spoke to checkers quietly. He chirped twice, telling her that he preferred the second choice. "A room it is, then." She left for the small hotel across the street. when she enterecd she asked the person at the desk, "May I have a room?"

The man nodded and said, "That would be six coins." At that Evaira raised her eyebrows, "They're getting more expensive each day.." She tookout seven coins, "I'd like some soup, please, when you get the chance." The man nodded, and she hurried off to her room.
