Jinala broke her stance, folding her arms across her chest instead. "Well, Darrien, of course I'm an earthbender, couldn't you tell?" she asked with a smirk. "The name's Jinala," she said. Lyonu growled at the firebender, but sat back down. Jinala glanced back at her companion. "And that's Lyonu. He may seem tough on the outside but once he gets to know someone, he can be really sweet," she added, then turned her attention back to Darrien. "What brings you to this part of the Earth Kingdom, firebender?" she asked.

Taruk rolled his eyes, about to head back towards the docks like he originally inteaded, but the fell face first into the water as one of the firebenders above him shot a fireball at his ice board. His head popped bak up above the water and he glared up at the dragon again. "HEY!" he growled, calling to the firebenders.

Ayra laughed at the waterbending boy and then smiled at the others. "Alright! I bet none of you could beat an airbender!" she said with a smile. She turned her attention to the other bender that had just arrived on her bison. "Hey Ladi!" she called. "We were just about to race!"

Ladi's eyes lit up with joy. "Really?" she said. "If so, count me and Jinko in!' As if Jinko understood what was happening, he grunted, as if to say, "totally". Ladi giggled at her air bisson and leaped up onto him. "And count Matso in too!" she shouted as the flying lemur flew out of a cloud and onto one of Jinko's horns.

Dawn looked down at the waterbender, she smirked, "YES?" She called back, raising an eyebrow...She wondered what he would do...probably nothing...She often thought that waterbenders were usually passive in situations like these.

Ciro noticed that the boy had gotten back up, he smirked, "Loser..." He laughed, not saying it loud enough for anyone else to hear though.

Tundra ran along the land as Lira began to race. To her annoyance, somebody had shot a fireball at the other waterbending boy, seemingly out of rudeness. She glared up at the boy, fiercely wanting to shoot at him with a sphere of ice. But, she restrained herself - for now, at least. "Dirty trick," she spat under her breath, azure eyes narrowing at the firebender boy.

Just as she broke her stance, Darrien followed suit. "I had my suspicions." he said smoothly, nodding at the girl and her companion. Razor stayed perfectly still, peering at the scene from the high perch of a spindly tree branch. "I used to live here - I'm visiting." after a moment, he added, "I assume that you're from somewhere around here, then."

Arya smiled at Ladi. "Yep! I'll go get Sorra, it will only take a minute, she will love to join in!" the airbender said, gliding back towards the island to find her flying lemur.

Taruk glared at both of the firebenders, hating them already, especially the girl who had shot a fireball at him, landing him in the water. He sneered at them both, then out of frustration, created a jet of water and shot up to the dragons height, then used the water spout to fire a jet of water at the firebending girl, knocking her off the dragon. He grinned and lowered himself back down to sea level. "Payback!" he commented as she fell.

Jinala noticed the boy's bird up in the tree, then turned back to Darrien. "I would assume a firebender would live in the Fire Nation," she replied. "And yes- well, yes and no," she said at his question. "I'm from an Earth Kingdom village, but I supose I've traveled quite a ways from it now. Overrun by bloodbender," she explained with a frown. She thought for a moment, then sighed. "Well, since you seem to be alone, and I know I am, how about we travel together?"

Flame jumped off of Dawn before she fell, he landed on Ciro's shoulder and wrapped himself around his neck. Dawn screamed as she fell. When she hit the water she flailed, water rushing up her nose. After a moment she began to sink, still thrashing. Dawn began to loose consciousness and she felt her eyelids becoming heavy as she sunk lower and lower. She watched as the surface got farther and farther away until her eyes shut and she was out cold.

Ciro's eyes widened. "You idiot!" She can't swim!" He said, worried, he took the dragons reins and turned it around, "You need to help her! I cannot swim either! Even if I could I cannot land this dragon!" He said, frantically to the waterbender, "PLEASE!" He urged, petting Flame, trying to calm him so that he wouldn't constrict against his neck TOO much.

Taruk scowled. Stupid firebenders.. he thought, then dived underwater, using his bending to pick up speed until he reacher the girl, then wrapped his arms around her waist and shot back up to the surface, keeping the girl's head above water. He used one hand to make another ice raft, one large enough to hold both of them, then let go of her. "Well, maybe you should learn how!" he called back up to the boy, shaking the water out of his hair. "Shouldn't have tossed that fireball my way.." he muttered.

Ciro frowned...He needed to have a serious talk with Dawn about her temper. He sighed, "I cannot lower the dragon, and he is getting tired, will you take her to shore?" He asked, his eyes hopeful.

Dawn, choked up water. "What the h*ll" She spoke softly. Her eyes opened and she looked around frantically. She was soaked and her hair was wet. When her eyes found the waterbender she glared, about ready to plow into him, "YOU TRIED TO KILL ME!!" She shouted. "YOU TRIED TO KILL ME!" She continued shouting, her anger flaring inside her. She was about ready to catch him on fire when Ciro yelled at her.

"DAWN CALM DOWN RIGHT NOW! He saved your life...you should be thankful...next time try not to be so stupid..." He said, frowning at her.

Dawn looked up at Ciro, she growled, "He wouldn't have had to save my life if he hadn't tried to kill me..." She muttered unhappily.

Taruk stood on the ice, then growled at the firebending girl. "Would you shutup?"" he asked, wanting to throw her back into the water. "It's not my fault you can't swim," he muttered, rolling his eyes. "I didn't try to kill you," he scowled, then glanced up at Ciro. "Yeah, I'll take her to shore, only because I want to get rid of her," he called back. He raised his arms and created a small wave behind the ice that pushed it towards the beach, into shallower water.
