Matsuo lay on her side, arms and legs sprawled out, covering the some of the white lines that maked the crosswalk. She could hear soft voices, mumbling and whispering, the sound of footsteps, and very faintly she heard a voice in the back of her skull. The voice prodded at her, urging her to open her eyes, but she hesitated, a empty feeling in the pit of her stomach. Her blue eyes fluttered open and she looked around for a few seconds, blinking quickly to adjust herself to the sudden rush of sunlight. She slowly sat up, and looked around as she rubbed one of her eyes with a fisted palm, confused.
"The crosswalk in front of the 104 Building?" She yawned,"Did I just fall asleep here? No, that doesn't seem right.." She muttered to herself dryly, seeing the people as they melded around her, but pay no attention.
Matsuo immediately got to her feet though when she heard a low snarl-like noise, and felt a cloak of dread fall on her shoulders. She looked around, nervous, thinking of what could've made that noise, yet she tried to stay relatively calm. -A dog? No, that sounded way different... But, it's gotta be right?- She thought, trying to think of a possible reasoning for the noise she heard. Sudden something buzzed in her bag and she blinked, caught off-guard by the strange feeling. She hadn't even noticed that she had her labtop with her, and she could understand why. She took it out, and opened the vibraing computer with careful, preciseness. An E-Mail immediately popper up onto the digital screen, and Matsuo scrolled her pointer to it, clicking it and opening the mesage. It read:
'Go to Shibuya Station, have fun.'
Confusion scrawled across the young girls faces as she re-read the message, just to make sure she read it correctly the first time before she looked side to side.
"What in the world?" She questioned before she looked back at the screen unsurely,"Well um, maybe I should... I could get some answers then.." She mumbled under breath, a smile coming to her at the thought.
She wanted to know why she woke up in the middle of the sidewalk, and why, exactly, no one crossing paid any attention to her at all, and what that ungodly snarling was. So that settled it, and her mind was set. Matsuo packed her labtop up once more and started towards Shibuya Station.
