Kenji ran as fast as he could to the back of the school, breathing heavily. He quickly hid in the shed, backing up until he apparently bumped into something. He turned, seeing something..... or someone hunched over. "Who the hell?" he muttered, stepping away from the creature. It suddenly stood, and Kenji could see the sunlight pouring in from the shed windows hit the smooth surface of a pair of garden shears. Naturally, Kenji screamed, but quickly bit his lip to prevent that. After all, he couldn't be found. This was hide and seek.
"Oh! Hi Kenji-kun!" Haru bouncily walked right over to him, still holding the shears.
"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING PUT THOSE DOWN," Kenji panicked, still shaken up.
"Sorry!" Haru apologized, hiding the shears behind her back. "What are you doing in here?"
"What are you doing in here?!" Kenji echoed in an irritated voice. "And with those shears...."
"I was just.... admiring the equipment in here!" Haru explained nervously, giving a shaky chuckle. "So are you playing hide and seek or something?" She began to rock on her heels, a completely oblivious smile on her face. Her green eyes sparkled.
"Actually, I am. And I'm trying to hide right now, so shush!"
"Okay! If anyone comes in here, I'll act like you weren't ever here." Haru smiled, then went back to observing various sharp objects.
Kenji breathed deeply, backing up to a wall and sliding down until he sat.
Meanwhile, Mikuru stumbled and struggled to keep up with Rika. "You're a lot more competitive than normal, Rika. Given the situation," she said between breaths, glancing around frequently in search of Kenji.
