Sari shrugged her shoulders. ""Who knows. To them, having a mermaid as a hunter could be a valuable weapon. "Th new boss wanted me in his office tank as a live decoration..." She shuddered at the thought. "But....All I know is how could he say no to that?...For all I know Kasume is probably back there, liying to me about coming back...."

"You understand the Hunting Academy a lot more then I do," Rei murmured, playing with a bubble of water. "I'm not sure exactly how things work, but if Kasume does come back and your gone, what will he think?"

Megan swam out of the cave and started along the coast line, looking for something to do. The dolphins weren't out, it was too late, and most of the colorful fish were hiding.

Rei stared at her friend, the words hurting her more than she though words could. "Seriously? You did us a good thing! You're always there to help us. And went you ment Kasume, you gave us friends with the hunting academy. What you've done for us has helped us."

Sari frowned. "Apparently not enough. If I go, and they accept me, they would have to make a deal that ensurse your safety thuroghly. " She told her before letting a wave take her to deeper water. "Then I'll be convinced I've help you guys..." She said. "Tell Megan I'm sorry, give Connor a hug for me..." She gave Rei a hug before disapearing under the waves and headed towards the academy.

Megan saw a dark shape swim off and thought it was a shark. She pulled herself up onto the beach next to her brother. Freezing off her tail she warped her arms around her knees and laid her head tiredly on his shoulder.

Connor didn't freak when he saw his sister, it wasn't strange anymore.

Sari hoisted herself up to a bank and dried off. She walked through the woods till she found the front door. She walked inside, going straight through the hall to the bosses office. She walked in, met with a knife to her throat. She saw the man put up his hand, the knife was lowered. She looked him in the eyes. "I could be a valuable asset..." she said simply. She saw his eyes light up, and a smile grew. "Well, then...." she heard him say. "Pass the trial and you'll be in." She turned into a dark hallway, met with a dagger thrown her way as the dor closed. She froze it, running to th exit. More daggers, Frozen limbs, and some cartwheels and other twleve year training gymnastic stunts and she was done. Black tank tops and dark gren baggy pants were all that was there besides boots. She changed, then laid on her bed.
