Carter studied her silently, then slowly lowered his knife and shoved it in his pocket. He heard the splash and closed his eyes realising she was a mermaid. He knew Sari had lied to him about how she was the only mermaid, since he saw Rei and all, but how many we're there exactly was what he wanted to know. Carter swallowed and opened his eyes,"Everglades?" he asked.

Megan could make a feint outline of Violet on the boat. 'No! Not the new guy who's still trying to figure everything out.' she thought. Now she was really worried about Violet's safety.

Sari chuckled. "Starfish are hard to draw. But they make great hair accessories." She joked. She looked at the pouch tied to her wrist again, taking out the oyster and opening it. The black pearl was bigger than she thought. She looked around. "I was really hoping Kasume would be around." She said, a little disapointed.

violet: "yea, I lived in florida before this. You ok? You seem tense"

Connor nodded,"Very hard I found out," he said smiling. He put the pearl in a pocket he had that was a zipper. "But I'll attempt drawing this pearl though, it's such an interesting color." he told her.


Carter nodded,"Yeah." was all he said. Trying to change the subject he asked,"Why did you leave Florida?" he asked.

Megan swam right up next to Violet and tapped on her tail softly to let her know she was there.

She smiled again. "I thought you'd like the green one. She turned the oyster around in her hand so he could see the black pearl. "I hope Kasume likes it. I gave him one of my bracelets too, so he could breathe under the surface, since he has a hard time swimming and all."

Connor nodded,"I think he will," he said quietly. Then he glanced at her wrist and saw a braclet was missing,"That was nice." he told her with a smile.

((Yes and I just watched again with my friends. I hadn't seen it since I was like six. Anyways really small starfish were in it and the joke was that they were big suck ups. They always whispered compliments into the person who was wearing them [As earings] into the person's ear. We were all laughing because they were using corny sayings.))

Sari looked down at the sand. "Just trying to make sure you're both okay..." She told him quietly.

Connor put a hand on her shoulder gently,"I know you like him, it's obvious, and I'm okay with that. You don't need to worry about me being mad." he told her softly. Sure he was a bit sad, but he was glad she was with someone like Kasume. "By the way if he ever hurts you because you're a mermaid, I'll murder him he." said with a small smile.

((It was funny by it got annoying after watching it 4 times in two days. My younger sister and my friend's younger sister built a chair fort in my living room and always said lets watch Aquamarine.))

Connor looked at her eyes and let out a small sigh. "Where would you go?" he asked quietly. He looked away from her eyes down to the ocean water that swirled around him as it pulled back into the ocean. "I'm sorry that I'm making you leave," he told her.
