Connor looked up at her and smiled,"Thank you." he said again, closing his hand over the pearl. He laughed at the small starfish,"I was trying to draw that, but it didn't work so well." he told her.

Megan started swimming again as the boat passed by. She waved at Violet and started towards the cove once more.

Carter two shiny things in the water, but he ignored them. Somethings were better left unkown sometimes.

Violet: I poke my head over the surface, distracted, curious abouut the human. I follow the boat

Megan kept swing towards the cove, not noticing that Violet had swam off.

Carter was happy where he was at so he cut the engine and let it drift. He kept his hood off so he could look around and didn't realise how far from school he was,"Oh well," he said to himself and shrugging.

Violet: I swim up next to the boat and watch the boy, fascinated

Carter sighed and stared at the little knobs on the control pannles. He missed HQ a bit because he missed his family and not being hated by kids. He shrugged it off and moved to the back of the boat. He searched the compartment and found what he had been looking for, an anchor. Carter tied a rope to the boat, then three the heavy medal hook over the side of the boat. He walked to the front again sat down, leaning back in his chair and closing his eyes. Then he heard a swish noise as if someone was comig to the side of the boat. Shaking his head he pulled his hood up.

Violet: I swim a little closer to him and look up over the side of the boat a little

Carter heard something grab the boat and look over. Slowly, with his eyes still closed, he reached a hand into his pocket and grasped his knife handle. Carter jumped up and pointed his knife at a girl he didn't know. Not quiet sure what to do he loosened his hold a bit and dropped the knife a little. "Who are you?" he asked coldly.

Violet: "violet" I say, timidly, seeing the knife.

Carter glared at her and lowered his knife a bit. "What are you doing looking in my boat?" he asked in the same cold voice. He was worried she was with the hunters. He couldn't see her tail do he didn't know she was a mermaid.

Megan arrived near the cove and turned to face Violet. The only problem was that she wasn't there. 'The boat!' she thought and dove under again. Using her tail she started to propelle herself towards the direction where she last saw the boat.

Violet: "I was just curious. This boat is a lot different from the ones in the everglades" I say, splashing the water with my black and purple scailed tail to help me stay up
