*Ranger-Rangers are usually associated with the wisdom of nature. Rangers tend to be wise, cunning, and perceptive in addition to being skilled woodsmen. Many are skilled in stealth, wilderness survival, beast-mastery, herbalism, and tracking. Archery and swordplay are common to rangers, though there are many instances where rangers use a variety of weapons, skills, and sometimes magic or have a resistance to magic.
*Warrior-The Warrior is skilled in combat, and usually can make use of some of the most powerful heavy armor and weaponry. The warrior is a well-rounded physical combatant. The Warrior may be able to learn basic magic, but its capabilities in this field are somewhat limited, most often using scrolls or magic items.
*Paladin-The paladin is a holy knight, crusading in the name of good and order, and is a divine spell caster. Paladin characters are expected to demonstrate and embody goodness and law - they are not supposed to lie or use poison, and some interpretations say they should use stealth, missile weapons, and other forms of impersonal warfare only as a last resort. The paladin is a champion of justice and destroyer of evil protected and strengthened by an array of divine powers. Most of these powers relate to providing benefits to those around the paladin. These include healing and curing of disease, morale in combat and turning of undead.
*Thief or Rogue-Thieves are usually stealthy and dextrous characters able to disarm traps, pick locks, and perform backstabs from hiding. Thieves are usually capable of melee or ranged combat, and tend to be focused on dodging attacks rather than withstanding damage. They often attack by dual-wielding daggers or other small one-handed weapons, relying on speed and number of strikes rather than sheer damage output. Thieves usually have a stealth ability, allowing them to disappear from sight, often this is combined with attacking an unaware opponent to inflict high damage. Thieves are usually restricted to the lighter armors, leather and the like. While thieves typically cannot practice magic, they might use scrolls or magic items.
*Wizards-Wizards are considered to be spellcasters who wield powerful spells, but are often physically weak as a trade-off. Wizards are commonly confused with similar offensive spellcasting classes such as the Warlock and the Necromancer. However, a Wizard's power is based on the arcane and a Warlock or Necromancer's power is based on darkness or death. Many wizards choose to master a certain element, but there are some who study and use a combination. The ones who do are not as strong in a specific element as one who focuses that one element.
*Assassin-Such characters typically combine elements of combat gaming with strong stealth skills, and specialise in defeating an enemy without becoming involved in a protracted melee. They are seen as the "fragile, but deadly" ninja-esque

*Dragonfire Adept-Dragonfire Adepts receive spell-like invocations through some form of draconic tie, such as in-born talent, study, or from a deal with a dragon. This includes the ability to use a variety of elemental breath attacks. Despite not casting magic, their abilities are still hindered by armor.
*Dread Necromancer-Dread Necromancers are focused students of undeath, fear-inducing magic, and evil-aligned spells. They cast spells spontaneously like a Sorcerer and do not have the breadth of a specialist wizard necromancer. Dread necromancers are also more combat-oriented than most arcane spellcasters, able to wear light armor without impacting their spells and possessing numerous abilities.
*Duskblade-Duskblades combine combat prowess with the ability to cast arcane magic while in light or medium armor. Their spell selection is limited and generally focused on a single target; however, their spells get a bonus against enemies whom they have struck in melee combat. They cast spells spontaneously, like a Sorcerer, but their spells are based on Intelligence, like a Wizard.
*Warlock-Warlocks are users of spell-like abilities either in-born or granted through a pact with some unearthly being such as a demon or a fey. Since a warlock's invocations are not normal spells, they may be used while wearing light armor and any number of times. Warlocks can later acquire energy resistance, toughened skin, fast healing, and the ability to force magical items to do their bidding.
Magic Elements
Destruction
The field of sorcery which deals with the destruction of substance and matter. Sometimes used in magical construction, often used in large scale warfare. Destruction Spells consist mainly of three elements: Fire, Frost, and Shock. Each spell has their own perks when causing damage. Fire spells can set enemies on fire, doing more damage per second. Frost spells cause damage to both Health and Stamina. Shock spells cause damage to Health and half damage to Magicka.
Alteration
Alteration magic deals with Thaumaturgy -- the one branch of sorcery which deals with transmutation and transformation of matter and energy (and vice versa).
Conjuration
The magic which involves itself in summoning creatures and creating something from nothing, unlike Alteration.
Illusion
The field of magic which prides itself on tom-foolery and faking people out.
Restoraton
Restoration is magic using life forces. It allows the caster to heal himself and others, as well as fortify resistance to other magic and poisons. Make enemies weak to magic and other substances.
Magical Items
Potions
There are many different potions that cause different effects. Many coincide with magic elements, such as healing and weakening enemies put on weapons.
Tombs
Tombs teach magic users new spells. Tombs have no effect on those unskilled in magic.
Scrolls
Scrolls are you time use magical spells that can be used even by those unskilled in magic.
Enchanted Weapons
Weapons that have had a spell placed upon them to do a specific effect to the target. Such as when an enemy is hit with an enchanted sword, they are dealt damage by fire as well.
Enchanted Clothing
Apparel that gives the wearer special effects.
