(@Aberdeen; you can RolePlay with me, if you'd like, with either of my characters. McKay, who is a full Mer rebel is in her territory, I'll post for her below, and I have yet to post with my half Mer, Nathan, so just let me know if you'd like to RP with him. You can start wherever, it doesn't really matter.

She rolled her eyes, a soft stream of bubbles escaping in a sigh from her mouth as Miles leaned in and kissed the defender, to suprise her. What had her species come to, kissing the enemy? She didn't follow lazily after him, merely turned and sneered at the dumbfounded and very furious looking defender girl. The razor sharp edges of her shell burned in her hands, and McKay envisioned Sapphire floating away to the black depths of the ocean where the pirhannas feasted, her blood spilling out in a cloud of scarlette....
Shaking her head, McKay snapped out of her thoughts, long enough to realize the girl was chasing after them. McKay had no fear, for what she lacked in brute strength she made up for in speed and cleverness. She shot forward, having to only give her tail and easy flick, and was gliding through Ingo, feeling the power of her beautiful mother surging through her, giving her energy. As the crossed over Defender territory, into the badlands, she turne quickly, floating just out of reach of Sapphire, who was pacing back and forth like a dog before an eletric fence. Ha. Defenders. Too honest for their own good.
The slender, lithe Mer studied her silently for a moment, allowing a lazy grin to spread across her face. "Don't worry, Sapphy, we'll meet again." She snickered, drawing out Sapphire's nickname, and not giving an explanation as to how she knew the other Mer's name. And then, her eyes went dead cold, and her smile vanished. Her look was intense. "And the next time we do, I'll be swimming in your blood, watching your sliced up body sink to the very bottom of Ingo, where even our old leader dares not go, and the pirhannas and other un-namely beasts will strip the flesh from your bones." She bared her teeth, looking almost feral for a wild moment, before relaxing once more. McKay hoped her very visual aid of Sapphire's death would creep the girl out. That usually did the trick. With that said, McKay flicked her tail again, dove deep and far, and was soon out of sight, though perhaps not quite out of mind.
McKay yes, let's face it, has some screws loose. But she was loyal to the Rebels. She would save any one of them, whether she knew them or not, or die trying. She is very protective of them, and the death of the Defender's doesn't bother her in the least. She swims lazily upwards, while at the same time, deeper into Rebel territory. The argument that just occured is already out of her mind, nothing ot worry about. She has other things to fixate on. For now. Eventually, she finds what she has been searching for. A cleft in the sand, that is higher up that the rest of the drop off, nearer to th surface, among a bed of seaweed. McKay sighs, swimming down to it, before flipping onto her back and staring up. One of her favorite places.
And though she is quite comfortable, the water calm, and warm, she feels on edge. AS if someone is close. Or perhaps she's just bored. She hasn't really been talking to any of the other Mer lately, of the Rebels. She misses their companionship. For though she is downright insane and scary to her enemies, she has a totally different personality towards her family. That's because they bring out the true McKay. Because she loves them. She sits upright, just looking around. Perhaps if she calls out to them in Mer, someone will hear her, and come for a talk. She opens her mouth, letting INgo slide in, and the words slide out. She calls, singing underwater in Mer for a long time, before stopping to listen to the still silence. If someone comes, they come. If not, she supposes she can go looking for them herself.
