Antonio smiled as he leaned against the mast and closed his eyes briefly, enjoying the salty scent of the ocean as it wafted around him. For once, things were going his way. The sun was shining brightly, the water wasn't that rough, they'd recently raided a small ship and best of all, he hasn't seen Arthur in weeks. He was in a good mood as usual, but today just seemed better then normal. He was smiling like an idiot or a while and was wondering if any of the others knew what he was thinking about.


"Ai ya, can that English b*stard make anything grosser?" he said as he saw burnt scones in the oven. He sighed and threw them away, and started to make his own food. He was like the unofficial chief. Li was like the unofficial cook. He was too small to do any physical work, and he was almost useless with a gun, even though he insists of carrying one just in case. He had his staff anyways. He huffed as he started to make biscuits and put them inside of the oven. He sighed and walked out of the squished kitchen and onto the deck.

Fabienne emerged from below the deck, stretching and yawning. The young woman sighed and ran a hand through her thick, black hair. She spotted Antonio from across the deck and smiled at him. "Good Morning, Sir." She said, already beginning her ascent to the Crow's Nest. When there wasn't anyone for her to fight, or anything one that needed convincing of something, Haiti contained herself to the Crow's Nest and was the ship's lookout.

It was just like any other regular day on a certain Englishman's ship; the crew was doing whatever and the captain of said ship was leaning against the front railing, looking out at the ocean. The smallest of smirks ghosted across his mouth. The past few weeks had been blissfully perfect in Arthur's opinion. He hadn't seen that Spanish b*stard in a while, and they had just recently raided a few small ships. Sure, it was nothing compared to some of the other ships him and his crew had attacked, but he was alright with that. It was a form of practice. Just you wait. You may think that I can't defeat you, but I can. Just you wait, Antonio.

A brunette girl — who goes by the name of Kailei — sat on the starboard railing of a ship, her legs swinging in sync to the rocking of the waves. She smiled lightly, fingers tightening their hold on the wooden rail so she wouldn't fall off. Then again, it wasn't the most brilliant of ideas to be sitting like that in the first place, but she didn't mind that much. So what if she fell off? She'd get a little wet, and then she'd climb back on board, simple as that. Sighing softly, she looked up at the sky. People underestimate us, she thought to herself. Just because we're not men doesn't mean were any lesser than they are.

Antonio opened his eyes as he saw Fabienne emerge and start to climb the crows nest. "Good morning!" He said optimistically. "Beautiful day, isn't it?" he called from down bellow as Fabienne made her perch. "You see anything interesting?"


[b]"Hey Captain, the scones you baked burned again." Li said as he saw Arthur lean against the railing. "You should really top baking. I did tell you I can cook, y'know." He said in a calm tone. "I made biscuits instead. But I wish you let me make dumplings...."What is this guy thinking about now?he thought to himself as he leaned over to look at his face. Other then Arthur's little brother, Li was one of the youngest of the ship.

Slamming her hand onto the railing, the brown haired woman glared angrily at one of the slaves on the main deck who had been so careless as to throw gold they had pillaged from a town the night before into the open sea around them.
"You threw your own gold over the ship ?"
"A-actually, ma'dam, I believe I saw him steal one of the other's, possibly your own." One of her younger female members stuttered, motioning towards the slave who was staring over the water, hungrily, searching for something.
Soraphine gripped the railing, anger surging through her like a hungry beast as she took the words in. Shaking her head once, she turned her head back towards the main deck.
Her decision was final, as she noticed the man casually taking one piece of money after another out of his pocket and flipping it over the side of the boat.
Pushing past the member of her crew, she made her way down the stairs that led to the main area of the ship and towards the slave. Standing rather close to him, he had noticed her by now, and it was as if she could feel the fear crawling from his body.
And she loved it.
Embracing the fear she knew he had felt, she stepped closer, cornering him at the rail. She snatched his collar, pulling him up to her height- she was 5'10, for God's sake, tall woman - and locked her eyes upon his. His eyes never settled, even as she spat in his face and pushed his back onto the railing.
Having had her fun, the woman sighed, and took no second to waste as she pushed him overboard.
'Pity the fool."
She sighed, bored now, as she started to walk towards the stairs.
The third slave that past month who had tried something.
