As the door flings open, I push my glowing staff deep into Emeralds chest, a sadistic grin filling my face. The wound was admittedly deep, but it was amusing to watch the now glowing blood drip from it. My staff was trying to control her as the tesseract fought back, but it didn't complete quite yet. I was hit in the side by black widow, and thrown to the side, my staff still within Emerald's chest.

Emerald's eyes lit up when she heard Clint's voice. Then Lilith's walked away, probably to go stop them. "Clint, watch out, Ice--" and then Loki stabbed her. Emerald let loose a blood curdling scream of painful agony, tears falling from her eyes. She could feel her own warm blood just leaking from her cut. The staff's energy and the tesseract were having their own little radiation battle inside of her, spreading more pain through out her. She let loose another ear splitting scream as both their energies fought for control. One second she wanted to serve Loki, the next the tesseract was back in control. Finally, her body couldn't handle it anymore. The tesseract let loose one final blast of energy, it's own mini atomic bomb in the room. Emerald's body shut down right after, and she fell out of the chair, dead, yet alive as the tesseract kept her heart beating.

((Apparently, now I have ten minutes c: so this is the last post:))

I gasp as the tesseract sends everyone flying backwards into the walls that surround them. "Now that is what I call a show." I grin to myself, as she falls to the floor, "Won't Thor be pleased?" I almost whisper, because of my exhaustion after the explosion.

Thor can hear Emerald's screams before he's even out of the elevator, and apparently so can Fury through their ear pieces. He hears a loud thud as the tesseract practically explodes inside the room. He charges down the hall, into the room, seeing the others. He sees Natasha down a hallway, and a burning smell coming from the same direction so he follows it to see Emerald on the floor, seeming dead, and then Loki, looking pretty beat up himself. Thor's eyes flick between Emerald and Loki, devastation written all over his face. His chest constricts and his knees go weak, but he manages to bring himself over to Loki, grabbing him by the collar of his shirt and throwing him against the wall. "YOU B*ST*RD!" He rages, hitting him with his hammer as hard as he can. He then drops his hammer and just starts punching Loki, over and over, all of his rage and grief being taken out on his brother.

A smirk remains on my face as he beats me up, his eyes full of hurt and rage, whereas mine remained emotionless. "Shhh, Thor. She's sleeping." I manage to croak out, as the dizziness sets in, before all goes black.

Thor roars in outrage at Loki's comment and punches him harder. It takes him a moment to realize he's unconscious, and when he does he throws Loki away from him. It takes all of his willpower to turn around and set his gaze on Emerald, who now lays in a pool of her own blood. He falls to his knees beside her, turning her gently so she's on her back instead of her side. He can't see her breathing, and his throat starts to close up. "Emerald..." he says as best he can. "Emerald, come on. Wake up."
