Summer hid her paw under herself "I cut myself... while i was transforming" She said, her heart pounding lie it did when she lied.

Forest had always been able to sense lies, as he had grown up around them. "Liar." His voice was cold, and he glared at her, feeling hurt. She doesn't trust me enough to tell me the truth. He didn't understand why it bothered him so much.

"Fine. I cut myself with a knife. I was mad and is clears my head" She said, her eyes cold "Now tell me, did you really want to know that answer?" She almost spat.

Forest flinched slightly, his eyes blazing. "You cut yourself?" He sounded almost disgusted. "Why? Do you want to kill yourself?" He purposefully didn't answer the question she had asked him.

"I was mad" She spat, turning human. "And i dont want to die, but im not afraid of it" She said, her eyes never leaving his. "Now, did you REALLY want to hear that answer?" She said coldly.

"No," Forest retorted. "It's not the answer I wanted to hear." He bared his teeth. "Why were you mad?" His tail was bristling as well.

Summer lowerd her eyes "Because your just like every one eles. Nobody wants to talk to me, i have no friends... You didnt even want to touch me" She said softly, looking at her paws.

Forest narrowed his eyes, but the hair along his back began to lay flat again. "So? Do I mean so much to you?" His voice was agitated, and his eyes flashed.

"I mean nothing to you so what does it matter?" She retorted, her eyes still sad but her voice hard. She spun on the spot and walked away, into the forest. If he followed, he cared, if her didnt, she didnt care.

Forest hesitated, then followed at a slow pace. "How do you know I said that?" he asked, his ears flattened. He stayed a step behind, not wanting to intrude very much.
